  • My favorite five finger shoe option
Size: 9.5-10 Color: Khaki
I love these shoes! Very comfortable and versatile, my favorite styling out of the five finger options I’ve seen.

  • Exceeding all my expectations…. Update
I’ve been wearing barefoot shoes for a few years and love them. They’ve changed my life. That said, I was looking for an upgrade and something with a stronger sole than I currently had. I was slightly apprehensive being the first toed barefoot shoes. I’ve been wearing them for a week and a half now and they just keep feeling better and better. Walking on rocks, sharp objects, ect are easily navigated with these shoes. The sole is more protective than I had hoped for. By far these shoes have exceeded my expectations, well worth the money. Update: I’ve had these shoes for a month now. They’ve formed so well to my feet, sometimes I forget I even have them on. You get what you pay for with barefoot shoes. Well worth the money. • I am SO glad I tried the Vibram "Five Finger"
This is my first pair of "five finger" shoes. I decided to spring for them on recommendations from a couple other blogs I won't name here. I was looking at "barefoot" shoes trying to decide what was different from my Mephisto sandals other than a thinner sole. I am SO glad I tried the Vibram "Five Finger". I could not be happier, the spring is back in my step. I've spent most of my youth and any adult opportunity to be barefoot over the course of my life. I've worn moccasins, sandals and flip-flops over the later decades to recapture that same feeling without the tougher soles of my youth. I've lost the leather soles my feet had as a youth and these replace them quite nicely. A couple observations, I rated these "fit as expected", I sized them off the Vibram website not Amazon. Size table on Amazon is one size too small (at least for me). Order the next size up like I did and they should fit just fine. They are "gloves for your feet", expect to work them on one toe at a time. If your small toe curls under that can take a little time. These are not "kick them on and run" like driving mocs, loafers or flip-flops(at least for me). If your toes are not used to being individually surrounded, you may need to work up to longer durations wearing the shoe The skin between your toes will no longer be protected by the adjacent toe. A final thought to ponder, if you drive a clutch, you will learn to position your foot more carefully, it really is like driving barefoot and no-one would ever do that - right? It took me about 45 minutes to get used to shifting again. Now I like a stick-shift even better because I can "feel" the clutch better. Now the rest of the upside, I have more spring in my step with translates to more energy overall. They weigh essentially nothing. My gravel driveway no longer exists (I could feel that through my moccasins). I stand straighter with shoulders back. Yep posture changed too, I can feel and see the difference. I put them on as soon as I get home (these are not dress shoes like my Rockports). I chose the Hemp to be cooler, they look better in tan as well, closer the color of my feet. I have "neoprene river shoes", the soles of the CVT are not the same. They are head and shoulders superior in protecting your foot. The sole has great traction. I can go on, I think you get the idea that I like them by now.. If you share a preference for being barefoot like me, you will not regret investing in a pair of the CVT-Hemp shoe. ... show more

  • silly, strange, awesome.
Size: 9.5-10 Color: Khaki
These are the dumbest shoes ever, they manage to be both silly and trendy at the same time which is usually my gauge to avoid a product entirely. I eventually broke down and tried these because they were made out of "natural" products (besides the sole) and I wanted an alternative to flip flops. I also thought they might be good rehab for my plantar fasciitis, as an alternate to over-supportive and over-cushioned supportive shoes. I mean eventually you need to get your foot stronger and super soft/supportive shoes don't do that. At first I couldn't get them on, my toes didn't want to separate. After 5 minutes I figured them out. After wearing them for 10 minutes I love them. I think these are my new favorite shoe, they are that comfortable. I don't know for running, I"d definitely have to get used to them first and and also get over my plantar fasciitis. I'd wear them everywhere if they weren't so embarrassing. I wear a size 9.5" shoe. I measured my foot from toe to heel and followed their size chart and they fit perfect. Update after a couple weeks: I still like them a lot and wear them everyday. I think they are helping with my plantar fasciitis but that might be healing anyway.... At least I can say my foot feels stronger and it doesn't aggravate my plantar fasciitis. Downside is they look silly and once you get used to them normal shoes feels strange and constrictive ... show more
