Took patience to get it on, but it did fit. Put your finger in the electrical connector to help guild it in to the door. It was a snug fit. Best if two people install it, the extra hands will help. Check inside your door panel to make sure your VIN doesn’t start with a J. This is for American made Camrys. Install was very easy. One panel and 3 10mm nuts. Use a small toothpick or similar to release the tab. The connector was flipped upside down on the replacement, but there was enough slack in the wire (from the car) to twist 180 degrees. ... show more

Overall it was a sweet purchase. My only "concern" would have been about the finish as it was shiny and I anticipated anything "ready to paint" to be more of a dull or matte like finish. But that can be researched; I mentioned it in case anyone more knowledgeable in paint and finishes wanted to elaborate as I am returning mine (both left and right) strictly because I found a pair for drastically cheaper quite randomly on my way home from work the same day as these were to be delivered...and yes the color was matched. LKQ! Solid product though and they work (well the driver side did as it's the only one I tested just so I can post honestly). For my use it was on a 2004 Toyota Camry xle. Get yourself a 10mm socket for your socket wrench and a fairly stiff pointed thin metal piece, I used a flathead eye glasses type screwdriver and courage to pry off the triangle plastic cover. The thin metal piece or flathead is for the unclipping of the side mirror from the harnessed wire "box" it connects to for power. The camry I worked on has this part of the component pointing down (slightly more annoying to reach considering the wires are fairly taught and block the angle) as opposed to upward where just pushing it down with a small flathead screwdriver would unfasten it and make the job slightly simpler. But that is literally the most focus you'll have to provide when replacing the old side mirror. The slots for the power component to fit look excessive (more than three wire ports) and so I think the one I worked on may have been heated too but the owner did not care about that feature so I installed it and the power worked fine. in the end I say great product, honest and prompt delivery too. The mirror itself was perfect and fit perfectly on my mom's car. The only issue was that the electrical plug on her car didn't fit the plug on the mirror so she has to adjust the mirror by hand. That's not a huge issue since she's the only one that drives the car but it's a little disappointing.
