Providing these hold up over time, these are some of the best lights ever! The squeeze-clips to anchor each bulb are actually metal, rather than flimsy plastic! EASY to use! It comes with 6 bulbs already installed! And it has an on-off roll switch! The only "little" negative was that I had to move my Christmas village a bit closer together because the span between bulbs was a small amount shorter than the previous cord had been. Overall, I LOVE this village-saving cord of lights and would definitely recommend!

Not long enough for teirs

So I have 12 villages all together, 1 is lit through batteries. So I had11 individual strands... The way I have the villages the lights to lights wasn't long enough to go between the different levels of my tree. The bottom shelf has a bulb shoved into the back, the next level I skipped a light (kind of shoved the extra to the side behind a tree) . So out of the 6 strands, only 5 made it to the houses, and 2 lights got shoved behind trees for extra brightness. But the lights all fit into my department 56 village and my 11 cords made it down to 4! Very happy with it.

Great invention for Dickens Village owners

This is a great replacement for the 6 individual wires we ran for our Dickens Village display. The harness is over 100 inches in length with individual bulbs placed 16 inches apart, plenty of room for displaying our village as we like it. No more bundle of wires in the back and under the cotton "snow" Considering that the cable comes with bulbs and metal clamps this is a great product for the price.

I like only having to plug in one cord

This works pretty well in my setup. My village pieces are right next to each other for the most part and these bulbs fit fine, and I only have to use one outlet. There's approximately 6-7 inches between each bulb on the cable. I ended up having a bulb with no village piece but it still works because I just unscrew the one I am not using and the string still works fine. But these are designed to work in Department 56 pieces and they don't necessarily work in other collections. I have a couple of Carol Towne pieces from Lowe's and the bulbs didn't fit very well. So keep this in mind when deciding how to use this. Other than that I like it

Works great if you have 6 Dept. 56 Village buildings within a foot of each other.

Wife has been collecting Dept. 56 Village stuff for several decades so we have several dozen she puts out every Thanksgiving thru Jan season. These are definitely easier and better looking than having 6 cords strung out as long as your buildings are less than a foot apart. Years ago I made up a string of lights like this which was time consuming and very expensive. These things are worth every penny if they fit your application. Plus you get 6 bulbs! That alone is worth the price. We ordered a dozen more after this set arrived and I verified they worked as described.

Their picture shows metal clips but they are cheap plastic ones that didn’t fit the holes

Wow what a terrible product. The picture shows the bulbs with metal clips but the product arrived with cheap plastic clips instead that were way too big to fit into the holes. My partner managed to shove one in (guy🙄) but then we almost broke the church house trying to get the stupid thing out, 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! I bought this strand even though it was more expensive than others because it is Department 56 brand so I assumed it would work with my Dept 56 Heritage Village houses; alas, it is merely useless junk. Off to try another brand. Thanks for cheaping out with the plastic parts Department 56, way to stay classy.
