DENSO A/C components are built to meet the stringent requirements of carmakers throughout the world for high output, extended reliability and reduced noise, vibration and harshness. The DENSO First Time Fit aftermarket line of compressors, clutches, receiver/driers and expansion valves is the result of over 30 years of engineering know-how. These products bring together everything DENSO knows as an air conditioning systems manufacturer to bring you the highest quality line of remanufactured and factory new A/C compressors available.New or Remanufactured, The Same High Standard When it comes to remanufactured product, you can't do better than going with a unit remanufactured by the OE supplier. DENSO knows these units better than anyone - because they originally built them. Each unit goes through a rigorous remanufacturing process to meet DENSO's strict standards for quality. If the part does not meet their stringent specifications, it is replaced with factory-new components or the part is scrapped out.In addition to their quality remanufactured units, some applications are covered by new DENSO compressors. • Perfect Fit - 2005 Sienna
An excellent value and perfect fit, considering it's OEM. There are several videos on YouTube showing you how to replace the compressor, so follow them. Some reviews note that the compressor comes pre-filled with too much oil, and it's both true and false. The compressor is supposed to be filled with 4.5 oz of ND-8 (PAG 46) oil according to the factory service manual, and this comes pre-filled with about 7 to 7.5 oz. However, you're supposed to replace the condenser/drier at the same time you replace the compressor and that needs about 1.5 oz of oil. You have to take off the bumper and front support brackets to even get to the drier, so at that point you should have just spent the extra $50 to get a Denso condenser/drier, instead of just replacing the drier only - especially if you're compressor seized. Bottom line is I drained about 1 oz of oil. For those of you who simply replaced the compressor only and recharged the system, you'll get away with it for a little while but you'll have to repair it again unfortunately. ... show more

  • This Perfect fit Compressor, gave me the chills!
My 2005 Toyota Siennas compressor failed after reaching 121,000 miles. The rest of the van is looking and running fine but the A/C systems was slowly deteriorating and cooling less and less. Went to my local dealer and was told I needed a new A/C compressor, they quoted me $1,300 and so I proceeded to do my research found that this van uses a Original equipment Denso Compressor Model # 471-1010. Found it at an incredibly low price of $200.00 on Amazon from True Blue Parts, including shipping. Got in just a few days in the Original Denso box, with Instructions and the requisite replacement O-rings. Had my local honest reliable Auto Service Guy replace it for me for a very fair $200.00 and now I am getting chills. Only use the Original Equipment Denso Compressor, and never buy a Refurbished or Rebuilt compressor, you are just throwing your money away. Very happy with my purchase, the price and rapid shipping! ... show more

  • OEM for 2005 Sienna....
So far so good, and at a fraction of the cost of my local ARS. Read the instructions, my compressor came pre-filled with oil. This is the 3rd compressor for my 2005 Sienna, currently I have 190K miles on the van. Very happy to be back to OEM, which has performed flawlessly and quietly like when I bought the van new. Recently we have been in 95-100 degree weather range and high humidity. The 2nd compressor I had installed was non-OEM and I was disappointed when I found my local repair shop had put in a louder and noticeably inferior brand. They also added too much oil (at their own admission after I returned it non-working) and did not have the rear A/C running when charging the system. This in turn caused the compressor to go into a high pressure state rather quickly when the rear A/C was turned on. The clutch on that one gave out so it was a good excuse for me to get the OEM back on, especially at only $230!!! ... show more

  • I like it.
The Denso 471-1010 Compressor with Clutch came with the oil and gaskets. Had some one install it, vacuum the system and charge it back. I just wanted all to know that we had an issue where the clutch would engage on then off. This was NOT related to the new Compressor or the clutch as a product. we did not use the A/C for a week. Then, took it to another guy and he told me the system was over charged and the safety "Over Pressure" switch disengages the clutch as a safety feature. Long story short, he charged it to the correct amount, and all is good now. ... show more

  • Good value for money
Installed on my Toyota Sienna XLE and it has worked since day one. I had thought of junking my car (quote to repair AC was almost 3k) but gave compressor replacement a chance. It worked, and I love my car.

  • Lasted 5yrs
So the original one lasted 10yrs and this one lasted 5 yrs... I guess it is ok given that it cost about half the price to get it done outside the dealer...
