My son loves this bat! It is well balanced and has a ton of pop. He is swinging a 32/27 and his barrel rate has increased significantly since switching to this bat. He had been using a lighter two-piece composite prior to this but said he really prefers the stiffness and extra mass this one piece alloy offers. We had read about durability issues but after a few months of heavy use haven't had any problems. The -5 is probably a little heavy for smaller youth players but is a fantastic option for stronger kids. ... show more

6th grade aon's prior bat was a composite that cracked towards the end of the season. The Voodoo One is alloy and much more durable.
