We bought this for our son. He is 11 years old and last season he did not have the best hitting season. We bought him this bat, and while getting in some practices with it, we could see that even when he didn’t hit the sweet spot, the ball still popped off the bat. In his second game this season, he finally hit one on the right spot and that ball launched off the bat! He his his first home run and then shortly after, he hit his second home run with it! This bat has boosted his confidence at the plate and he loves to swing it. It is light weight (27oz with a drop weight of -10) and very well constructed. My son (10yo) started in little league. The coach suggested he get a better bat than the one we originally got from Walmart. We weren't sure how much he will like baseball, so we didn't wanted to invest in an expensive bat until he's sure he wants to stay with it. He's very committed to baseball now, so we decided to get him a good bat. We researched about how to break the bat in after we received the bat (an important step to get full life from your bat) and took him out to batting practice. You can tell there's definite a difference in how he swings the bat, how the ball makes contact, and thee ball travels farther after contact. We are extremely happy with this purchase. My older son loves his -3 Goods bat, so my younger son wanted to get the Goods for his 9U season. For awhile it was hard to acquire certain bats in our local stores, so we ordered the 28' drop 10 Goods (this one) online and didn't even look closely enough to notice that this one is a USA bat, not USSSA. He went the whole regular season swinging this bat, wondering why all of his hits barely left the infield, but he had the second most hits (first in singles!) on his AAA team. All it took was one game in front of his new coach to reveal the issue..when he heard the sound after my son grounded out at a scrimmage, he gave the bat a look over and noticed that it was a USA bat. He described it this way: it's like my son was swinging a stick all year while every other kid was swinging a rocket launcher! That analogy made sense and we now have a new CF Zen that he loves. The Goods is an excellent bat for high school ball, but save it for the older ones and let these little guys have their rocket launchers while they can! ... show more

Bat is alittle end loaded and has decent pop. There are better options out there. My son did not have any durability issues with it but he only used it for one season before groing out of it.
