I purchased this AVB (Atmospheric vacuum breaker) so when I turn off the shower valve, the water would drain out of the shower head (back through the vacuum breaker) and the shower head wouldn't continue to drip. But it didn't work. The shower head continued to drip and nothing drained out of the AVB. I returned the Delta unit and got another brand (more expensive) and the new one works perfect. Now, I turn off the water and the showerhead stops dripping immediately and the water drains back through the hose to the AVB. Maybe I bought a bad Delta unit or maybe Delta just doesn't work...I don't know. ... show more
