I purchased this Delta trinsic hand towel holder for a new construction home. I have yet to install it but have removed it from the box. First, let me start off saying it is a thicker metal than it appears to be in the pictures. Secondly, it does not pivot from the wall. It is fixed in place. I do not believe this will be a problem if you buy a large enough hand towel to put on this holder. And it certainly will accommodate a large hand towel. Because most people are used to having a pivoting hand towel holder oh, I believe you should reinforce this holder when installing it on your wall. Just in case you or your guests don't pull it out from the sheetrock when using the hand towel ... show more

The good: Looks great very simple. The bad: Light duty, feels cheap and the price should be cheaper than it is. This will probably work just fine in many homes, if you have kids or anyone 'hard on things' living in your house this probably won't hold up. This is okay, I mean it's a towel hook and it's bronze and does its job. But I have to say that I ordered 4 sets of bathroom accessories for our new house, one set of delta for the master bathroom, one set from my local Target store, and two more inexpensive sets (no name brand) and this Delta set was by far the most expensive, yet does not feel any more sturdy or really look any better than the others. I'm now wishing I would have saved my money and purchased another inexpensive set for the master bathroom. ... show more
