They broke it loose on one side, so it was time for a repair...instead, I just bought this as an affordable upgrade. Fortunately for me, the existing holes and diameter perfectly matched the left side, so it was an easy swap out (though I went to the hardware store for upgraded wall anchors). I patched the one on the right that was removed and used leftover paint to touch it all up. Bam! It looks great and functions well. I ordered this and the matching towel bar to go along with the Delta Cassidy-series faucet and shower fixture in a bathroom I’m having remodelled in my 1936 house. The style fits the rest of the house, and the polished nickel finish is both attractive and period correct.

Great design and ease of roll changing. Having only one side screwed into the wall leaves me feeling a little uneasy about it's ability to hold up over time. Screwed in with supplied anchors into sheetrock.

This is a very nice toilet paper roll holder. I use it as a towel holder near my sink. It works great. Mine did not come with aa set screw and I went to the website and told them .. also I told them on amazon and they sent me one right away, actually sent me two. The only complaint I have it the set screw could be a bit longer so it can get it a bit more secure, but it does the trick because I am not pulling on it. As a toilet paper holder it may be a bit more delicate. If the wall plate was a bit wider and the bottom half a bit longer that too would also work. We have the whole like of Delta Cassidy and love the design. I believe products are not tested in the right ways before going to market. ... show more
