    • Not horrible but not great
First off, its pretty quiet. Much quieter than either of my shop-vacs, and the suction is pretty good for what i use it for, which is a Dewalt 735 Planer and a Delta 36-725 Table Saw. Mine did come with instructions and its easily put together. The bad...the plastic bag. The clamping system and the cramped cart are horrible. Its a pain in the rear to empty and the bag is small, fills very quickly from the planer. If you have a lot of shop tools like router table, jointer, and planer, I would suggest more horsepower. I've decided to dismantle mine from the cart and build a custom setup with it using a seperate chip collector that can hold 55 gallons of wood chips so I don't have to change the bag every 30-45mins while planing. ... show more

    • Monster machine. Love it
Perfect dust collector for my 20’ by 24’ wood shop. I leave it in one location and have a 4” hose that I move from and attach to all the machines. The motor is quite powerful. I’d by it again!!!

    • Don't buy this Dust Collector!
No users manual in package, no packing slip, no instructions. You have to figure it out for yourself. Once assembled, getting the plastic see-thru collection bag in place & clamped is an absolute bear. Again, some instructions would have been helpful. If you go to delta power tools, you can download the manual(nothing shows on the web page until you hit the F5 key) and customer support seemed like the only thing they were interested in was getting me off of the phone. Finally, assembled, bag securely attached, plugged the collector in & hit the power button & the most awful, metal on metal screeching sound you have ever heard. Ear piercing! Something is askew in the motor/assembly. I'm sending this back & looking at another vendors dust collector. I purchased this because of the name, Delta, I have a delta miter saw that's 20yrs old, no problems, the see through bag & big back wheels for mobility. This is not worth the effort, frustration & definitely not worth the money. There are others on the market, similar price range, stay away from this unit!!!!!!! ... show more

    • Good suction but it is loud!
The product was well packaged and easy to assemble. It has good suction but I was surprised/ disappointed it did not come with a starter hose. On the noise level, the previous reviews indicated it is quieter that their shop vacs, well I don't know what shop vacs they have but this device is A LOT louder than any of my shop vacs... looking forward to putting it in service. ... show more

Great size dust collector fro the small shop. Good for one tool at a time. The unit does not come with an owner's manual or assembly instructions.

    • Inexpensive dust collection
Dedicated dust collection for my Sawstop 3hp 240V tablesaw. Bought it cheaper because of “no instructions” Used my edumacation & figured it out. Works good for my use. Wouldn’t use it for long runs n multiple machines. Spend the $. Get some horsepower if you’re doing that.

I do not see the remote control part, but maybe i missed it. It is great as far as suction and getting dust out of my shop.
