I have installed several Delta products over the years. They are top notch, excellent quality products that are reliable and last for many years. For that reason it is one of my "go to" brands. Prior to installing the Velum widespread curved faucet, I went through the box and inventoried all the parts and compared it to the supply list in the instruction manual. Everything was well secured, accounted for, and wrapped to prevent the finishes from getting scratched. It should be noted that this kit includes everything you need for a successful install - even the supply lines, which typically aren't included with a bathroom faucet. The instructions were easy to follow making the install a seamless process. From start to finish, it took me about an hour, and that included removing my prior faucet. If you have basic plumbing skills you can install this faucet yourself without the assistance of a plumber. The process was pretty intuitive for the most part. These are my favorite features of this faucet set: - I love the modern appearance of the curved spout. It is a nice touch and looks great with the other fixtures in my bathroom. - The brushed nickel finish is flawless. There were no scratches or imperfections at all. Delta uses high quality materials from top to bottom. This is something I appreciate in a plumbing product and am willing to pay a premium for, because the last thing I want is a leak in my bathroom that would cause a lot of costly damage. - It's the little things, but I really love the fact that this faucet has a pop up style drain. I am not a fan of the "lift rod" assembly that comes with some other faucets. That was a huge plus for me. It also works really well. If you are considering ordering the Delta Velum bathroom faucet I wouldn't give it a second thought. It is a quality product and exactly as described. Highly recommend. ... show more

The faucet was easy to install, just unscrew the old ones, line up the three faucet (make sure the handles are facing the correct way!) and screw back in from the top. The faucet looks really good and updated to modern standard. I can see some plastic parts inside the faucet itself to ensure no rust inside. It comes with a small tool that helps clean the faucet mouth from dirt/ calcium deposit that could accumulate inside the pipe which is great! It feels like discussing the construction quality of Delta faucets is a bit of a chore. Delta has a reputation for high quality and this faucet is high quality all around. The style is what I got it for. It's actually replacing a 25 year old Delta faucet that has only needed minor maintenance the entire time. The old faucet still works and I'm trying to find someone to give it to, it just isn't the modern style my wife wants in our home. The kit is as complete as you could hope for. Everything necessary is present and well made. The cartridges turn smoothly, almost effortlessly. The finish feels thick, if that's something that can be inferred. I am very confident that I'll get decades of use out of this faucet just like my last Delta, or at least it'll be around until the latest style overcomes my wife. ... show more
