I recently purchased the Delta Children’s toddler bed with a tent for my son as he transitioned from a mini crib to his first big boy bed. Initially, I was a bit concerned about whether this would be the right choice, but my son’s excitement made the decision easy. Assembly The assembly process was straightforward. My husband and I only needed a screwdriver, and all the nuts and bolts were clearly labeled. However, I do wish the individual pieces of the bed had similar labeling. As long as you follow the instructions step by step, it’s easy to put together—even the tent! I appreciate that the tent can be easily popped on and off, which adds to its convenience. Comfort and Use My son absolutely loves this bed! He was initially hesitant and slept in his mini crib for the first few nights, but by night three, he was sound asleep in his new bed. The tent provides him with a sense of security, and even his 6-year-old sister, who is smaller than most, can fit in there comfortably to read him a story. The one side of the tent props up nicely, allowing him to go in and out with ease. Mattress Compatibility It’s important to note that we made sure to get a standard crib mattress, as the mini crib mattress does not fit properly. At 22 months old and nearing his second birthday, my son has truly embraced his new bed. This purchase has proven to be worth every penny, and I’m excited to invest in more matching items from Delta Children when the time is right. Overall, I highly recommend this toddler bed for its quality, ease of assembly, and the joy it brings to my son! I bought this Delta Disney's Childrens/ Toddler's Bed a while ago and after a while of use now I think this bed definitely holds up to the strengths and daily stress of a toddler for sure. The craftsmanship, quality of this bed I am very satisfied with. The ease of use in putting it together wasnt too bad either about 20-30 minutes. The bed is perfect size for a small living space or otherwise too. The bed came as described looks great and ideally I do recommend this product for parents for transitioning from cribs to a toddler bed. ... show more

I put this bed together myself with few issues (besides my 2yo). The bed itself is sturdy and I'm happy with it. To buy the bed alone was around $50 and to get the tent and bed combo was only $8 more with the open box deal Amazon had at the time so despite the reviews I rolled the dice. My son loved the tent feature and even stayed in bed when he couldn't sleep but played so much with the bed that one night I heard him crying and went to check on him, one of the velcro door flaps was stuck to his pajamas and he couldn't get it off. The next night he was up again and this time one of the tent clasps had popped off causing the tent to lay flat at his feet. Overall, the tent is cute and a fun concept but not practical for my active toddler. It's not worth the extra money to me unless you're willing to put it on in the day and take it off at night which would quickly become a pain. I did not have any issue with the poles snapping like other reviewers but we only had the tent up a couple night. Conclusion: bed is worth it, tent is not. ... show more

My son loves it. The tent is still on! Open at head and foot board. My guy is 2.5 and on the shorter smaller size. Will last at least 2 more years. Still priced high for plastic even though cheapest bed we could find. It is close enough to the ground with our .6” thick Matt under it that if he were to fall out (tent is not secure and not to be trusted as a piece to support your child from falling out) he would be just fine. The funny part is he still falls asleep in my bed and I have to get down on my knees while holding him and then he kind crawls and plops in his spot. Worth it all in the end. ... show more

The bed itself is everything you think it would be. It's sturdy and a perfect first toddler bed. However, the tent material is simply too weak. It came ripped in the package on the sides.
