Super cute. It is smaller than I anticipated but will work for our baby. The instructions weren’t as clear to understand especially when it came to installing the base. The instructions had me installing it face down but when I realized the sticker on the bases stated “this side facing up” I realized why I was struggling. Took about an hour from start to finish. I woke up and my baby was sitting up in her basinet and holding on to the sides while looking over at me. I knew I needed to get her in a crib ASAP. The problem is our house is tiny. We opted for this crib because it would be here the soonest and it looked like it would work. My husband put it together in maybe 20 minutes, it's not difficult at all. I love that it folds up in case you need to go somewhere that you may need to bring it with you (vacation, evacuation, etc.) It's on wheels so we can easily move it as needed. It isn't much bigger than the basinet but bigger enough to give the baby a little extra room. I decided to buy this instead of a bassinet for the first couple months. Most bassinets run about the same price and baby typically grows out of that within 2 to 3 months. This mini crib looks like it will last way longer than that. And the best part is the mini crib has different heights for the mattress so as the baby gets older, you can even lower the mattress. I’m really happy with this purchase. I think it is great if you have a small space or if you’re trying to save on having a bassinet. I paired my mini crib with the Newton mini crib mattress and it fits perfectly. I only reserved one star in my rating because the wheels are not the smoothest. I bought this crib for the weird time between when a baby is too big for a bassinet but not sleep-trained enough to share a room with an older sibling. I was not disappointed. The crib is relatively easy to put together. I was able to do it myself in well under an hour. Honestly, most of my time was spent getting the box open and all the parts out of the packaging. All hardware was there, and all the pieces were undamaged. The directions made sense and were easy to follow. After almost a week of use, I can say it’s met my expectations, exceeded them when I factor in the price. The only thing I wish this crib had was a way to lock the wheels - my baby tends to flap his arms when he cries, which causes the crib to move and hit the wall. Easy fix - just move the crib away from the wall slightly. But I do wish the wheels would lock to alleviate this problem. Based on other reviews, I did get a nicer mattress as the one that comes with the crib is pretty flimsy. But again, for the price, it’s about what I would expect.
