This shoe is soooo beautiful!!! It is perfect late 90's and early 2000's stylin'!!! I got big chunky shoelaces for them cuz of the big fat chunky three stripes. Amazing!!! With Adidas (just like the Adidas Superstars) I have to order a half size smaller Nike. It's just the way shoes are. The fit perfectly!! Super comfortable!! Amazing!! My new favorite shoe by far!! I like these shoes, but I wanted to like them more than I did. I grew up in the 90s/early00s wearing the skater style so these really do fit that style. However these are much bulkier than I wanted them to be. They are just very thick around the ankle and slightly more narrow at the toe, so they are kind of clunky. They fit well and are comfortable, but they weren't as comfortable for a lot of walking as I thought. I wore then to our local amusement park's winter festival and my feet were cold so they aren't as insulated as you would think given how thick and clunky they are. But they are cute, and they actually looked really cute with leg warmers (because they kind of hid the clunkiness). ... show more

I bought these Adidas Break Start in solid grey/white/gum originally for myself because I love how they have the classic Adidas look but more modern. I also love the color grey and when I saw these I thought "WOW I have to have those"! When they got here and I tried them on my 13 year old son was dropping hint after hint that he wanted them. "Theyre exactly my size" and "I really really like that color they look so good". So after I tried them on myself I realized they were slightly big for me. Not the insoles but the width of the shoes themselves, they're very similar to skateboard shoe styles. I decided to let my son have them and they look so good on him. Theyre perfect for the baggy style that teens wear these days. They are very comfortable and I really like the textured material that theyre made out of. The chunky stripes are my favorite part of them to be honest and the color can match almost any outfit. Theyre great for an everyday shoe.
