I purchased the 16" - 3 Tier Rectangle Plate Display. These are the perfect size and are beautiful in person. I would highly recommend them. My only complaint is that the black stands had some rust, but once they are put together it is not very noticeable.

The top two shelfs and trays fit perfectly, but the bottom was bent. I'm sure the tray was fine, but I just couldn't get the bottom shelf put together. It had been bent somehow and it would not fit where it was supposed to. I was going to keep it just for the beautiful large 16" trays, but I wanted them to stack for the space. So back it went.

The trays seem sturdy. The rack is flimsy and seems like it is going to collapse. The only way to make it sturdy would be to superglue the loose pieces together. However it would not be collapsible then.

The platters with this set are very large and look even more so in person. The photos are with a soda can on one to give somewhat of an idea. You could certainly fit a decent amount on these. The plates are weighty as well. For that reason, I do agree with those who said the stand could do with being just a bit thicker or sturdier. Do to the size of this product, you'll need to have plenty of space to set it out on and for fear of it being bumped, not right on an edge. It was easy to assemble and I like that the stand is able to swivel to either side so that the tiers can either be straight in a line or staggered a bit, which can be seen to an extent in one of my photos (lack of space where I set them to give better photos). I also like that the stand is collapsible for storage, and the platters can be used for anything.

These are nice serving dishes and the tiered stand makes for a nice display station. The description says this has a new, sturdier stand but I was a bit worried about it at first. It moves around quite a bit until you get the dishes placed on them. Once you get them on, the weight of the plates holds everything in place. The back side of the bottom two trays does goes underneath the one above it so it limits what you can put on them based on height, but it's only about an inch of each tray. These trays can bring a touch of elegance to your buffet or you can use them as cookie trays or whatever you like. They are very versatile in their uses.

I uses this set for my son's party and it was a big help. The 3 trays are strong and durable (but make sure they do not fall because the material is not going to withstand the fall.) They have a metal stand that will hold the trays in place. The stand is a bit flimsy until you add the trays. The weight of them will hold the stand in place. This is a good presentation and will look good on any party table since its colors are neutral.

The media could not be loaded. I'm not sure if I'm missing a piece or something- but this is not a very sturdy feeling serving tray. The trays themselves are gorgeous, well-made, and heavy. They could be used on their own or on the rack provided. When I set up the rack and put the trays on it I was disappointed to see how much it still wiggled. I was concerned that a tray would fall or crack if it was jostled too much. I think with a piece to keep it more sturdy it would be a FABULOUS tiered tray. I will still absolutely use the ceramic trays and may also use the rack for them if I can stabilize them better.
