    • Using this with Bitwig home recording studio
So far I'm loving this monitor. It works very well, and with some tweaking I was able to make the image and brightness come close to my other IPS gaming monitor. The image quality still isn't anything to write home about, but being an IPS panel means it already has great viewing angles and colors, so I can't really complain much about that. It's working great with Bitwig studio. The touch functionality in Windows 10 feels just as good as any other touch device I've used. At first it was a little weird touching the screen because it feels like a regular monitor, but I got over that pretty quickly, and I definitely prefer the matte finish over a gloss finish. Glare and fingerprints are not an issue. My biggest gripe is related to the price($300 at the time of writing this review). IPS monitors have gotten much cheaper over the past year. You're paying at least triple the price of a non-touch IPS. I have a hard time believing all the touch hardware raises the price so much when tablets and touchscreen laptops are cheap these days. Now I'm okay with paying so much because it's part of my workstation, but for someone who just wants to use a touch monitor with their computer for convenience, the price probably isn't worth it. I think they should drop it at least $50, and they should also offer a cheaper version that doesn't include the stand. It's a very nice, high-quality monitor stand, but I have mounted VESA stands that I'd rather use. At the end of the day, the touchscreen works great with Windows 10, the image quality is good enough, and it doesn't look weird or out of place next to my other monitors.     • Great monitor for the price point
I picked up this monitor to use with my laptop. I wanted it wide so that I can have 2 windows, side-by-side, while I'm writing my reports. I also wanted a touch screen, and didn't want to spend a fortune. While it's not perfect, it meets all of my requirements. I've used it almost daily for over 2 months now and am very satisfied with this monitor's features and performance. What I like: -super light for its size, I can pick this screen easily and move it around if I need to -the stand is solid and allows the monitor to be raised, lowered and angled to make it comfortable to use -connection was easy. Some said they had problems, but I found the directions were easy to follow and I had it set up and connected within just a few minutes -I mentioned it was touch screen, right? This feature has worked flawlessly for me. I love it -No flickering. I'm highly sensitive to light changes on a monitor or tv. This is LED and it has zero noticeable flickering, so no migraines -Screen quality is good for web browsing, document-based work, and even the occasional graphic work. -the price makes this a great value What I didn't like: -graphics aren't crisp. This is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. If you work primarily in graphics then this probably isn't the best monitor for you. If you work with text or browse the web it's hardly noticeable -the port cover is difficult to attach. After the monitor is set up and all cords are connected, this is supposed to snap on over them, probably for a dust cover, or maybe to give a cleaner appearance. The problem is that it goes on the underside and back of the monitor, unless I detach the monitor from the stand, this area isn't easily accessible. I turned the monitor and tried to blindly get the tabs to go into the slots and then click into place against the cords, which resist against the cover. It failed and I left it there because it's far more trouble than it's worth, in my opinion. If they wanted a dust cover, then it should be a hinged door.     • Good buy for touchscreen user.
Used as a single external monitor for a Surface Book with Surface Dock and HTML with miniport adapter. Normally run “second screen only” mode to get full benefit of the screen’s real estate. Used for general computer work; a little bit of everything but no specialization. Although the monitor comes with a myriad of settings; none were needed initially or to date. After setting up and turning everything on, it configured itself to my preferences. Resolution, brightness, color, and contrast all met my needs. Touch didn’t even need calibration. The articulated stand does not allow for horizontal screen placement but does allow the bottom to approach the desktop and with a slope that is comfortable to view, draw, and write on. Placing the bottom near my keyboard, my arms no longer tire from reaching for a more conventional touchscreen. For those who plan on placing their monitor similarly, I would not recommend the 27” version; increases vision span and reach. While many criticize Dell’s choice of screen surface, after using it, I quickly became comfortable with the feel of the texture. I really appreciate the matte surface does not become a mirror in a bright room or with sunshine hitting it. I had no issues with brightness as some critics indicate. The capacitive touch system does not accept an active stylus. I have found that I do not even need a cheap stylus for much of what I do on the large screen and rarely resort to using the Surface stylus on the Book screen. While the Surface Book and Dell Monitor combination is not a Surface Studio, it does provide much of that flexibility at a much lower cost. ... show more

    • Excellent Touch Screen Monitor just not as bright as I'd like
I've had this for about a week and loving it. Hooked up fast, easily, and without issues. Hooked up with the DP and USB cables. Color is accurate out of the box but the screen brightness is just a tad on the dull side. I work in photoshop for graphics work and it's suitable but just have to adjust to the lack of brightness by compensating for it in my workflow. Articulating screen works quite well although sometimes moving it moves the weighted base / entire unit out of position on my desk (but just a tad). It's VERY hard to find an all around good touch screen monitor on their own. I would say there are less than a dozen models but some are ancient (released back in 2013 or so) so choices are limited. This is simply because they didn't catch on as a stand alone product when the All in one computers came out with a touch screen monitor included. All in all I give this 4 stars very deservingly. The monitor came with the DP, USB, VGA cables and power cord and the design has cable management design to keep your cables tidy in the back. My only annoyance was first figuring out how to navigate the on screen menu for calibration and settings. Thera re buttons on the bottom edge of the screen bezel for that purpose and it wasn't really clear how to use them for navigating. As it turns out two of them are used to move left and right in the menu system and one is used to move up and down, while one of them helps you exit the menu. Once I figured it out it's a breeze to use. One positive is the on / off button is illuminated and located in the same area as the navigation buttons on the right bottom. I work with a CAD program on a 15.4" 2016 MacBook Pro, so I needed a larger monitor to make work easier. I researched many different monitors from various manufacturers, and finally narrowed it down to 2 from Dell, this one, and the U2415. I like both, but what swung the decision for me was the touch ability of this monitor. This monitor really works, with several connection options, both upstream and downstream. I know, Macs don't support touch, but I was able to get around that with the TOUCHBASE drivers. Their driver package really works, and I have never, ever dealt with a company with better support, even pre sale support. Dave Bhattacharjee is top notch. He gets back to you within the day with any answers to your questions, and that's especially notable given the time zone difference, (TOUCHBASE is located in England). If you have a Mac, and want a screen with touch ability, don't hesitate to go with TOUCHBASE. Their website is very comprehensive, with almost any question you might have addressed there, including a complete list of every touchscreen their software drivers have been tested with.     • Awesome touchscreen monitor!
I hooked up a Asus VivoStick to this monitor and it works perfectly. To utilize the touchscreen, you just need to plug in the usb. The touchscreen sensitivity is just phenomenal. I didn’t think it work so well but is does. It beats buying an all in one computer and way more cost effective. The display has a smooth glare; so I can scroll easily in webpages, pinching in and out zooms the image. This would be a great product for a touchscreen POS system, no need for keyboard and mouse as well. Although, a mouse is needed for setup. I am very happy with product and thinking about getting another one to build another computer for my house. I am currently using this for my business, a nail salon. ... show more

Love this monitor! Bought it as a secondary screen to watch Netflix and browse the web while using my primary ultra-wide monitor to play games, so wasn't looking for too much in a monitor - but this one ended up being a home-run! Great quality build/picture, LOVE the stand and the flexibility it provides (I was REALLY looking for a screen with a stand that would allow me to position the monitor any which-way I wanted, up, down, slanted in front of me, etc, and this stand DELIVERS). I purchased this monitor in March of 2023 for my office. I was excited and looking forward to making it easier in my office but in Sept of 2023 set up the monitor for use and found out the monitor did not respond to my touch.
