100% Honest Review | GREAT MONITOR

**Arrival** The monitor arrived to me in perfect condition. There was little to no distress on the box (small dents on the edge of the box) and the contents were not damaged whatsoever **Packaging** The packaging on the monitor was normal standard. The Monitor was laying on foam with the screen face down. **STANDS** The Monitor stand has a very unique design which looks amazing. The shape stands out but not too much. Although what i dont like is the monitor cannot turn clockwise whatsoever which means this monitor cannot stand vertical if you are using the stand dell provides. You are able to tilt and adjust the monitors height **Colors/Brightness/Picture Quality** Compared to the S2417DG the colors are very bright. This monitor is just as bright as the AW2521HF. I am amazed at the colors of this monitor, for the price listed, its the best colors ive ever seen for a monitor for this price. It almost looks like a IPS. **Control Panel** The control panel has many options Really like how you are able to adjust the brightness and and the response time. Overall: I the monitor is 100% the best monitor for this price. You have so much access to adjust your display to your liking ( way more than my 240hz Asus monitor ) The display is so good it looks close to a IPS Monitor! This will be great for PS5 and Xbox since its 144hz and the new gens are going to be 120hz. Do I recommend this monitor? YES 100% Any Flaws? Yes, you cannot rotate your monitor vertically Whatsoever, only tilt and adjust the height Is it worth its price? YES 100% This was not a paid review, i 100% payed for this monitor

Great Curved Monitor - Genuine Review

**Arrival** Package arrived fine, a dent was on the front of the box but it didn't affect the contents. **packaging** The Monitor Packaging was the normal standard, the face of the monitor was laying on foam. **Stands** The Stands are the same as the S2421HGF, it has a nice design but unfortunately you cannot turn your monitor vertically with the included stand. You can only tilt up and down, and adjust the height. **Monitor curve/build quality** The build quality is great. The monitor screen curves in about 1 inch in the middle as you can seen in the picture i provided. You can clearly notice the curve while gaming. **DISPLAY** The monitor display is very bright just like the S2421HGF. It looks very close to a IPS Monitor 10/10 it looks very good for its price. **What i don't like** I do not like how the monitor does not include a display port, only HDMI and Power cord. Recommendation: I 100% recommend this monitor, it is great for its price and has very bright colors for display which you can adjust.

DOA (Dead on Arrival) Shattered Screen

Opened box and no protection at all. Just...a....monitor.....in....a.....box. What could go wrong? How does quality control fail this wildly when it comes to packing/packaging? Opened box and Ruh-Ro I don't see any protection for that poor shattered monitor at all? It would have been faster, more efficient and less costly to simply smash the monitor before packaging and shrug it off. Somewhere, in a Dell fulfillment centre, people and machines are working in harmony to make some astoundingly awful decisions on packaging risk. If it's going to be shipped that poorly, with so little attention to risk of loss, at least add some entertainment and amusement to the experience - maybe pack it with loose spark plugs, ball bearings, and rocks? Either do better, or double down and amplify the risk. Unfortunately, for this price point and these features, with this availability, I am going to be cornered into ordering another one of these once return gets sorted. I'm curious in a morbid, masochistic way, whether this was just a "bad box" or whether an epidemic of unsecured monitors is bouncing it's way across the US. Will update.

great for Twitch streaming

I purchased this for myself, but two weeks later, my daughter (college age) asked to use it set up a streaming channel with the gaming PC I build for her. . I said OK, because I never figured she could configure all the software and hardware, as she only uses an iPhone and iPad . I was wrong. In only a couple days she was streaming, Among Us, game play, with her darling face at the bottom. That monitor made her feel like a real pro streamer. The set up with the new Dell monitor- HP 590 with i3-8100, 8gb memory , EVGA Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti card and all running fine on a 180W power supply (122 watts at the wall plug)- Total system Cost= Dell monitor, $211, used PC- $200 (ebay), used video card-$85, Logitech 922 Pro Stream web cam- $64 (Walmart), Amazon microphone $22 = $582. The Dell S2721HGF is easy to set up and easy to adjust for height- a plus, it works well with Nvidia graphics cards. I plan to buy another Dell S2721HGF , ASAP.

Great but must calibrate color

Great monitor for a budget but a strong recommendation would be to calibrate it when you set it up. It looks like there's a nasty blue light filter on it but nope. That's the color calibration from the factory.

Looks foggy or faded. The framerates are awesome once dialed into the Nvidia Control Panel though!

It's a monitor! What else do I have to say? I probably wouldn't buy it again, but if you are on a budget you can't find a monitor with this refreashrate I'm almost sure of it. The blacks could be a bit more "Black", but for this price I really can't complain. Budget Frame junkies just buy this and thank me later.

Very good specs at a very good price!

These types of monitors were very expensive 2 years ago. This is a great choice for the price and if you don’t care about 1440p or 4K gaming. The minimalist yet tasteful gaming aesthetic is what drew me to this monitor as well as the specs for the price.

Great product, misrepresentation of physical design in pictures provided by seller.

The monitor is awesome and has been a huge upgrade from my previous main monitor. The issue I have is that there are two different monitors shown in the listing. I was under the assumption I was getting a curved monitor because the primary pictures on Amazon are of a curved monitor. The monitor I got isn’t curved but if you look it up on dells website you’ll see it’s not curved. Other than the misrepresentation of products on the listing I am extremely happy with this monitor.
