A nice monitor for a very cheap price. Not the latest technology, and if you wan to rotate it you have to unscrew the stand, rotate and remount... not something you would do on the fly. It does the job though, although the Raspberry Pi I purchased the monitor to work with, would not do the resolution for this monitor, so I could not use it in that application. For a 17" monitor, this is a great investment. It accepts VGA or DVI, with an optional 60 or 75 Hz refresh rate. The resolution is as good as it gets for a monitor of this size. It also has a 2-port USB hub built in, which can be used after connecting to an active USB port on your computer. This is very useful for applications including WiFi and wireless mouse/keyboard, if your desktop is underneath a desk or such that you have a weak signal. The height and angle of the screen is also adjustable, and it can be rotated by 90 degrees. As for the styling, I've always appreciated the aesthetics of a sleek monitor such as this one. I have the same monitors for a long time, The Dell 1908FP is NOT a WIDE its diagonal which is much better for standard work, although we can get today bigger screens, but if you need to fit in the space you have, and you like to have all monitors the same, it’s the best and crisp sharp It is worth every single penny paid for it It is the same as the Dell 2007FP but I need the 19” size and still same quality as the dell U2412M, or U2410 but in 19” or 20” you won’t go with the “WIDE” monitors, “DIAGONAL” is a MUST ... show more

I bought a pair from EPC, a "Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher". One had a serious defect in the display (not a physical scratch). It had multiple bright blue vertical 'scratches' that should have been caught in their 'testing' - according to their published standards. I returned the purchase and will try another vendor.
