Much like the other set I tried, the wax a a little difficult to use and peels up on the edges. The color pallet and blood works amazingly though, the fake blood was difficult to dab onto the wax and took a few tries, but it worked great on real skin and didn't stain.

What you get - Professional Special Effects Makeup Kit with ,Scar Wax, Bruise Wheel pallette, 3 different Fake Bloods, stipple sponges, spatula, and regular sponge. Pros - This is a great little all in one kit IF you have used these kinds of things before. The different bloods are great for different effects as opposed to just the one. The bruise pallette is complete and you can create many different looks with it. Cons- this is definitely aimed towards people with know how rather than people wanting to play for Halloween. The instructions are next to none but it does say "professional kit" Overall - a good price IF you have experience with the products OR are willing to look up instructional videos.

This is a very nice kit. I bought this for my daughter to help replenish some of her SFX makeup she has, and she was pleased with the contents of this kit. The scar wax, stage blood, and blood gel are good quality, and the makeup has a nice variety in the palette. According to her, this would be an excellent kit for those wanting to start out in playing with SFX makeup.

I’ve done sfx makeup professionally for 3 years and while these products aren’t movie quality or anything like that, I can say they honestly work pretty well. As someone just starting out, these are gonna be all the main products that you need. A couple of the cream colors are kind of patchy, but they still blend out nicely and can be layered. The Splatter (spray) Blood did stain my skin, but none of the others did. I love the variety of sponges. This kit is a great value!

I thoroughly enjoyed this kit! The makeup smudges and blends amazingly and holds up really well, doesn't continue to wipe off after touching once allowed time to set. The blood effects are on point. The only downside is there is 0 information on how to use the products, which is fine for most of them BUT I was really excited to mess with the scar wax and have no idea how to use it so need to look for an outside source to help with that. Overall I think this price is absolutely amazing for what you get and how well they work individually and together.

My 11 year old is a very talented makeup artist, and I'm honestly so excited to give this to her. It's her last year to trick-or-treat in our area, and I want her to be the spookiest kid on the block. I'm sure she'll make something amazing with this. The quality is very silky, with little to no streaking or caking, and almost no odor, so I'm thrilled and I know she will be too.
