The fabric quality is outstanding. The initial wash made everything even softer. In particular, the orange pillowcases are remarkably soft. The added surprise of the designer pillow was nice, but it was obviously sewn in haste. Several thread strands are loosely connected. It's ok! Don't be fooled by the bright pretty colors that you see, I was, & it's so much duller! The sheets are very dull colored there's nothing pretty and bright about them. The comforter is super thin but if your hot natured like me it will be perfect.
