This is a very good toy for a child with love of trucks. The sounds and flashing lights are big thrill for child. Remote control functions and can be stored in glove box. Opening hood, removable dip stick and parts which unscrew are fun features. Two slight issues. The hood supports are difficult for youngster to release when closing the hood. Also, the truck doesn't roll when pushed by windshield "handle bar". Grandson walked on his knees to push truck. The addition of a third wheel in front would make it easier to push. The media could not be loaded. This tool set is unique and super cute. It’s great for any kiddo that loves to use their hands, to manipulate their toys and like to “work” on engines! My husband is always working on cars in the garage and when nieces and nephews come over they always want to join. They are a bit too young to actually be given a real tool so we thought we would set this up beside his cars and they have absolutely loved it. The detail of this toy is awesome. Assembly was easy, it was simply placing on stickers as well as the wheel and the handle. It has two large tires so that with the handle it can be pushed easily from location to location. The engine part requires 2 AA batteries - it has lights and realistic car sounds. The drill provided actually works also - it needs 2 batteries also. Both pieces are durable and safe for kids for pretend play. There are plenty of pieces to “screw” into place. Our 2 year old grandson, who is now 3, has really enjoyed this truck! He has learned great fine motor skills and the bells and whistles on it provide hours of entertainment. Initially, the only down side was the decibel level of the truck sounds, especially when a toddler is enamored with constantly hitting the remote to "start the engine." It kind of drove my daughter crazy until her hubby (thinking outside the box) stuffed cotton balls in the speaker area to mute the sound! There was no volume control (hint, hint to the manufacturer).
