I couldn't afford to properly renodel my kitchen, but I could not look at it one more day with the emerald green counters and the cabinets with atleast 10 layers of paint, I strip everything down sanded it and put vinyl everywhere.... I absolutely love my kitchen now. It finally matches the rest of the house with the blue, grey and white theme. The marble vinyl is thick and I messed up on a spot. Spot is still messed up because the vinyl stuck so well I couldn't lift it back up. O well gives the counter character. ... show more

This stuff is not easy to use-at all! It’s also very difficult to remove. That being said, if you can get it installed it looks nice and it’s very thick and seems like it would be very durable. I just could mot get it on smooth enough. More user error than anything.

Worked really well. Completed this project with my son on his old desk that was over 10 years old, particle board, chipped and almost threw out. Our first contact paper project. Easy to smooth. Depending on the project, I would recommend ordering the widest paper to help eliminate seams. Also consider cutting seam over lay in a wavy cut to help eliminate line of demarcation. ... show more

Wouldn't go on without wrinkling so I threw it away. Not a good product. Never had any like this before. Terrible. Never had or seen this kind of paper be so bad. I know I can't get a refund because I threw it away. I will never buy any of this product again. Wasted my money. Needs to get off the market. I used other products like this and was good. I wanted to love this so much because the look of it is infinetly better than that of the contact paper I originally had on my counters. This one is matte and thick and looks great, especially from a distance. BUT I have already had to take it off due to the poor adhesion and massive amount of bubbles. Which is so strange because it was beautifully smooth when I first laid it down. It would stick at all to the underside of my counters so I stapled gunned it down but then had issues with the tops of my draws scraping against the staples. It is significantly thicker than the other contact paper I used which might be what you are looking for but makes it very difficult to work with if you have sinks and narrow places to go around. Again, looks amazing, and if I were using it for photo shoots etc on a flat small piece of MDF it would be perfect but sadly it didn’t work out for me. ... show more

I used the Decotalk contact paper to update an antique desk for my office. After trying several different brands this was the easiest to use even after having to lift it in sections to remove air pockets. I am very pleased with the the outcome.
