We redone our bedroom, new floors ,paint, fixtures and the last purchase was the blackout curtains. I use them because they seem to insulate the room a little during the hot weather and I worn nights and need to darken the room. I sent several pictures to my husband and we both liked what we thought was a charcoal background with white twig pattern. It showed up with chrome color twigs and was more flashy than I expected but I kept them as I thought they were now way better than I originally thought. I put them up and we were both impressed with how good the rook looked. Everything was as described. Light will leak through the top of the rod where the grommets attach to the curtains rod. There are inexpensive window kits for window blackout so I bought one of those for $10 and used black duck tape to tape it inside the window sill. Beautiful and is a 10/10 in the design, price and everything else. Let's a little bit of light in through the top but that didn't affect how nice they looked. ... show more

These curtains are the perfect blackout curtains. After a recent room redecorating project I needed something that would match the colors I chose for the room . I wanted black, silver , grays and whites . After some searching I found these gave me all the things I wanted . Short enough to be able to fit with my window unit , included the tiebacks, and also where blackout curtains . The pattern and design is really pretty . As far as black out shades these work about 9/10. Because they are white and not a dark color they do seem to almost glow under full sunlight. Nothing crazy but if you want full dark cause they are in a bedroom then maybe try one of their darker colors. I love them for the living room

I bought these curtains for my guest room and they certainly make it very dark. The material is soft and seems to be nice quality. I can't really speak to the energy efficiency of them, but they seem to be well-crafted and I hope will hold up for a long time. Easy to add on to the curtain rod, and they tie back easily. My only improvement for these is that I do wish there was an easy way to keep the tie back attached to the curtains themselves, but I work around that. You can see the bright sun peeking in at the bottom of the curtains, but that is it. The fabric is so soft and there were no wrinkles at all. This is fresh out of the package and straight up to the curtain rod.
