    • nice but don't fit a standard 3 inch candle

These are lovely, though they have a weird film on them. But, the details show the diameter as 4 inches, so I assumed my 3 inch candles would fit down into the part in black in the pictures, but they do not. Very disappointed. It is off by such a miniscule amount, I cannot understand why they did that. 3 inch diameter is very standard size for candles yet this holders don't fit. So, what may I ask does fit inside? It's almost like a mistake in measuring since it is so very close. They will sit on top so it is still kind of workable but I want them to sit down into the candle holder. Will decide if I am going to keep them or not. Bummer. ... show more

I used the bottom for my base. it seemed to fit my candles better. If they fall on the floor it might crack. For what I wanted them for it worked out fine. I just wanted them to add height in the background.
