Item arrived nicely packaged. Bought for above a bar at our cabin. Put on pine wall and it’s very light. All the colors are very muted and washed out. I still like it. I plan on adding stain over it to darken it. The wood seems dry, like it will accept stain very easily. Wish it was darker like the photos. For the price I don’t mind adding some stain to it. I am really pleased with the quality considering it was only $40. It is exactly what I expected and it looks great on the wall it was intended for. The variety of colors in the wood make it an easy piece to match with existing decor. I'll definitely buy from this company again in the future.

I wanted to love this, but it arrived today, and I can only like it due craftsmanship. Its sloppy. The wood pieces to create the design come complete with big dark knots in the wood. Just in the center alone where there is no paint to tone them down some there are three of them so they stand out like a sore thumb. Ruins the look. I though they were dirt smudges at first glance. The overall painting is sloppy. I realize it's meant to be rustic & weathered but this is sloppy not in a good way. Missed spots and drips of color here and there. Frame is slightly damaged. I gave it a three because it's meant to be rustic, I just personally don't feel this is rustic well done especially at this price level. It's too much of a hassle to return it so I will try to spruce it up some myself. I do like the size, color scheme and design. It's not too heavy for hanging on the wall either. ... show more
