Got this product to be a house slipper, but one I felt I could go out and get the mail in or collect eggs from the hens. It's more of a shoe than I expected, with a very rugged sole... Maybe a bit too rugged for a driving loafer? It wasn't exactly what I was expecting--I was expecting more of a slipper.. But, it is a well made product nonetheless..     • Nice but runs small
Nice-looking shoes, but sizing runs small. I ordered my normal street-shoe size and it didn't fit; probably sizing up would have worked. Also, it has a textured outsole, and the insole is thin enough that you can really feel the texture on the inside. Overall, would suggest caution and attention to these issues if you want to purchase these. ... show more

The first thing I noticed was just how red red red the issues were. I love them though, but they’re very red. Did I tell you the red they’re super comfortable they’re like a canvas kind of material. I don’t know how they’ll hold up. The material seems a little bit flimsy like if you walked around in it a lot it may wear out quickly, but we’ve yet to test that out there by deer form so I kind of wonder are they supposed to be like house shoes? I’m not quite sure but I plan to wear them outside, so we’ll see they have a nice Like rubbery soul with little bumps on it so you don’t slide all over the place and they’re pretty wide I mean, I actually have. I don’t have like size super wide feet but I guess I’m like in the middle of narrow and wide and these are very comfortable. There’s some padding on the bottom like foam squishy padding probably not a lot of our support, but they’re really cute and they’re comfortable enough that I would probably wear them to like drive around and do errands and Hang out probably not if I was gonna like take a walking tour of the city. But they’ve got enough going for them that I give them five stars. ... show more

I cannot decide if I like these shoes or not. That's not a good sign if you're not in love straight out of the box. Pros: True to size. The insoles are only slightly forgiving and I'm pretty skinny. The fabric inside at the back of the heel is soft. They flex across the top of the foot without pain. Very well made with attention to stitching and detail. The bottoms have a LOT of grip. I didn't feel like I would slide around in these at all. Very sturdy to stand in. Cons: The soft fabric inside of the heel doesn't quite go all the way to the top, leaving a small ridge of the outer fabric to rub your heel raw without socks. With my thick socks on I can still feel the rub. Those folks without tender feet/heels may not even notice this detail. I'm not used to wearing anything but runners and sandals. The outer fabric is not pretty and doesn't feel soft like I thought it would. It has a canvas like feel. I am not a fan of the color. This is subjective for everyone, although, because a lot of people might enjoy powder blue. I think these shoes would work for some people, you just need to have tough feet that are used to being in shoes all the time. I think my feet are too tender for them. ... show more

    • Comfortable all day loafer
I ordered these Dearfoams driving loafers in the Eventide. They are true to the color on my screen and are a very light shade of blue. I ordered the size 8 and usually wear between an 8 to an 8 1/2. These fit me perfectly and I can even wear socks with these (I am not a fan of shoes without socks). These seem very comfortable although I have not walked around all day in them and don’t plan to. For wearing around the house or while driving these work well. The cushioning inside is pleasant and there is a bit of padding around the back collar which is a nice touch. The rubber sole runs from toe to beyond the heel to help grip the ground or floor of the car while driving. Material is a very lightweight mesh which seems to be very popular in shoes these days. I love that they are machine washable. They are Dearfoams so I expect quality and these certainly show that. However, I felt the price of $65 is a bit high so I did take off a star for that. My Amazon rating system- Five stars-Great item. May have a minor flaw that does not detract from appearance or function. Four stars-Great item. Flaw or problem more noticeable. Or, price may be high for what it is. Three stars-Good item. Has a flaw/problem that requires more work than should be invested in a product. Two stars-May be a good item with work. Or, doesn’t work for me but may for someone else. One star-Nope. Doesn’t work for me and probably won’t for anyone else. ... show more

    • Love these Loafers!
Baby blue stretch knit material makes these driving mocs / penny loafers perfect in terms of looks and comfort. They are made by a well known slipper company, and the comfort and padding in them is exactly what you'd expect from a pair of Dearfoams slippers, but the looks and versatility mean you can wear these anywhere. They make great travel shoes, as they are easy to slip on and off, have some cushion and arch support, and look great, too. I am a huge fan--I have them in 2 colors, and will likely order additional colors if they become available in my size. Got these in pink and they are PINK! LOL! Dearfoams have always been my favorite and these are super soft and comfortable to wear. Nice soles on the bottoms if you need to run to the store or slip on to run errands. Perfect for around the house and they have some stretch but are a little narrow for my wide feet, however if you have wide feet you could wear these without socks. ... show more
