These replace a different pair of slippers which didn't have a heel (i.e., you just skipped into them). These are comfortable and do appear to regulate heat. The fit a bit looser than expected, but they're around the house slippers so that's fine. Only thing I find odd is the heel. He states they are VERY comfortable, have a discrete look, and have a durable bottom for house shoes. i hopped the padding would be slight better but its not bad, decent enough for the price, it works well enough, and so far does what its supposed to do, easy to slip on and go, i had other brands, where hassle to use and always slipped off or unstable to walk in slip or come off. so far this shoe works and stays where its supposed to even on steps. last pair used came off going down a few steps and caused me a pretty bad fall injury due to being lose wear and coming off while walking steps. so far this pair doesnt seem to do that which is a huge deal. i like it for being better fit that doesnt feel like it will flop off when walking around making it unsafe to use, like my old pair was. ... show more

They're pretty comfortable, but in less than 90 days the foam sole has lost it's cushion & they make my feet sweat. The first 2 months these were great & preformed as advertised, but they definitely dont last.
