Description

The sci-fi survival horror classic Dead Space returns, completely rebuilt from the ground up to offer a deeper and more immersive experience. I remember playing this without playing the original dead spaces and the first time playing the dead space game and this one was good for a remake. This in my opinion was very good. Better than the Callisto protocol.

I haven’t been super impressed with most reboots, but Dead Space is amazing. I played the original many many times, so I can tell how much effort went into this. First, the game looks incredible, definitely fits right in with other Xbox X games from a graphics standpoint. The developers also tweaked the storyline a little so that it makes a bit more sense as you are figuring out what is going on. Lastly, several elements of the game, both small and large, were added, changed, or otherwise improved from the original, so it doesn’t feel like you are just playing the same game over again. I certainly hope that this is successful enough that they release at least one more revamped game in the series. I would prefer a new entry altogether but that may be too much to ask for. ... show more

    • Amazing remake and a game worth buying at full price for the most part
Had been a Dead Space fan since the first game in 2008 so when they announced a remake I was pretty giggity. After being somewhat disappointed with Callisto Protocol (Sorry Glen) I was hoping that DS remake will do better. For new DS players: DS is a sci-fi suvival horror 3rd person shooter game where you play as Isaac Clarke, an engineer sent to USG Ishimura mining ship on a emergency repair job. When he ended up in the middle of an alien outbreak that killed most of the crew and after figuring out what happen the main goal is to get out of there in one piece. For veteran DS1 players: The graphics is freaking amazing and there's some new story changes/twists that makes it fresh enough to play it as a veteran DS1 player while still faithful enough to the original. You will not disappoint with this game. ... show more

    • Terror in space never looked so good or played so well.
This game is awesome and scary. They added a lot from the original. The gameplay is improved, the graphics are stunning and scary, the dialogue improves the story, just about everything they did for this game is a step up from the original. They took one of the best horror-survival games of all time and remade it into something amazing. I highly recommend this game who enjoy a good, scary game. ... show more

This was amazing! They stayed true to their roots and the graphics are phenomenal! They kept the artist that made music from the first game, I would pay double for a Dead Space 2 Remake..I love how difficult this game was even on Easy. There's such a limited supply of ammo/nodes/credits that it brings back what true, "Survivor-Horror" games were really meant to be like.. ... show more

I played the original Dead Space for the Xbox 360, and this game is different. I barely recognize it, and having Isaac Speak is an excellent change for the better.

    • Good game, but nothing new
Tremendous graphical improvement over the original Xbox 360 release, and has some quality of life improvements. That said, I would only say this game is essential if you have never played the original. However, if you have, there are no surprises. This is NOT the leap that REmake 2 was.
