These are my favorite shoes, they fit every occasion. All black and simple they can be worn in the office and even to church or other events, and theyre nice and rugged and i use them for work too and for long walks and construction even.

S good I bought 2 times in the last few years and the first pair are still in REALLY GREAT shape. Get a bigger size than you think. I usually wear 10.5 and these are a 12 which surprises me but they are really good. VERY pleased with these shoes.

I’ve bought DC shoes for years. I’m 29 and I’ve bought them since middle school. The last 3 orders of shoes I bought the men’s pure skate shoe. But I order these anvil shoes for work. I am a hairstylist and I’m on my feet all day and wanted a clean all black shoe. These are similar to my other DC’s but I like these more because the tongue isn’t so puffy. And they are sleeker with less texture and seems on the sides and brim. If that makes sense. There is also a little less padding in the back. I find them very comfortable. I’m a woman size 9 so I buy men’s 7.5 and I did and these are perfect. Same as usual and no issue. My DC’s I usually keep for my everyday shoe for 3-5 years and then reorder them. The heel tends to wear away around that time frame. But for everyday wearing the same pair all day for that many years, it’s impressive. I just love DC. ... show more

As a skilled veteran skateboarder, I've had a lot of experience with different skate shoes but this time was particularly interesting because these are my first pair of shoes I've ordered online and my first pair of DC's. DC always has that stigma of being a poser company but that I think majority of that comes from anti-fanboy skaters. Shoes are shoes for the most part. I think as shoes, they do complete their purpose of protecting my feet and gripping my board surprising well. Aesthetically I think they are great looking. A hip skate shoe that doesn't blast that DC logo all over the shoe like grafitti. Very important note as my title suggests; one reviewer added to order a size larger than normal because they do run small. They were right! I'm more than happy with this purchase, for the money, for the aesthetics, they were a hit for me. ... show more
