Definitely built with better quality than vans. I personally like vans for myself but my 12 year old son will legitimately wear holes and tears all the way through them in 3 weeks. I've worn this shoe for years, and while they have never been durable, I've always gotten a year or two of wear out of them. Not anymore. I should have returned them when the uppers were really obviously made from cheap plastic rather than leather. Instead I wore them and within a month, the sole of one of them had started to pull away from the upper. Their quality has really fallen off and I'm not buying anything from DC again. ... show more

I've bought this brand and style before, but not online. I bought the all black pair and I like that the sole is also black. They're really comfortable immediately, which I appreciate, since I walk a lot. They look good, too!
