These heavy-duty DC breakers cost slightly more than their competitors but seem less prone to arcing at high voltages. Previous DC breakers have not been rated for voltages as high as these and most of them have eventually failed, usually just the negative pole. I'm really pleased with these!

Used this as a breaker off of my battery solar bank. Connected it directly to on of the 12 VDC batteries using #4 battery cable. Then ran cable to my radio bench. This provides direct DC to power my HAM radio. Direct DC is much more efficient than DC to AC then back to DC via a power supply. Well made and easy to use. ... show more
