    • Great for Wide Feet!
So I wanted to get back into skating. I decided to get a pair of lakai telfords, they were my favorite when I was younger, but they DO NOT make shoes for wider feet which is unfortunate. So I found these. Good deal, classic skating shoes, etc. The box was pretty beat up, but granted, these shoes aren't from the new line. First thoughts, looked great. Notices they were wide, and chuckled a bit when I saw how fat the tongues are, more of a nostalgic laugh. Slip them on, fit absolutely perfect. The top lace holes weren't wrapped in, so I suggest using them. They slip on and off flawlessly, and its hard as hell to find shoes like that nowadays. One flaw is the quality of the soles. They're very thin, but with the price of them i'm not worried about it. In all honestly, I think everyone should have their own set of dedicated soles for their shoes. Weather has been shit, so I haven't been able to skate yet, but with how these feel, I have no doubt in my mind that they will work beautifully. These DC shoes are Great. I bought four pairs. I was waiting for winter to be over to where them outside before I wrote my review. All of the ones I bought look great from DC. I like these especially because they can double as an all black semi-professional shoe. The tread and comfort are nice. I just spray them with a little leather and suede protectant because of the mud & water in the spring. They've been good shoes. I do suggest you order with all DC shoes at least a half -1 size bigger. Especially if you have wider feet. Otherwise the value comfort and style of these and my other pairs of DC shoes are great. They've been durable with arch support. Like I said for a Good fit order your shoes a half size larger, or a whole size if your feet are wide like mine. ... show more

These DC Gaveler Skate Shoes are everything I hoped for and more. As a longtime DC fan, slipping these on was like stepping into a time machine—and apparently, everyone else feels it too. I get compliments all the time—people constantly say it’s a total throwback in the best way. The design is clean, bold, and unmistakably DC. They’ve nailed that iconic skate style I loved growing up, but with the comfort and durability to keep up with daily wear today. Dc shoes aren't what they used to be, theese are ok,the grip is a little laking compared to my kswiss classics Dc and airwalks is all i wore in the 90swhen i was a skater Now am old(46)and just were them normally But the black and orange is pretty sick and they fit my big fat feet perfectly after bout 3 days ,yes im a big man they are comfortable to just wear ... show more
