Bought these shoes for my son that rides scooters daily for exercise. This is the second pair he's gotten but only because he wanted different colors. The shoes are well made with a thick sole. If anyone knows scooters and skateboards, they also know the pavement tends to deteriorate the sole of your shoes after you ride so much. So skateboard shoes are the best. They're comfortable and they fit well. The laces don't come untied while he's riding and they're overall a great buy in the shoe department. Comfy very solid feeling shoes. The foam cushioned sole is really nice as most other shoe companies can’t even put anything decent in. Durable material and a solid rubber bottom makes these shoes actually feel like shoes instead of flat slippers. As a shoe to just simply wear around these are great, but for actual skating not so much, at least for my preferences. Minus the more particular stuff, the biggest gripe is that the large padded pill pattern and rubber of the bottom of the shoe offers very little grip for skating. Even after a good break in period these still felt more slick on the board and difficult to find that digged in edge of grip that’s needed. Perhaps others won’t mind it or some might even prefer it, but for me these will remain a wear around shoe and not a skate shoe. ... show more
