S good I bought 2 times in the last few years and the first pair are still in REALLY GREAT shape. Get a bigger size than you think. I usually wear 10.5 and these are a 12 which surprises me but they are really good. VERY pleased with these shoes.

These are my favorite shoes, they fit every occasion. All black and simple they can be worn in the office and even to church or other events, and theyre nice and rugged and i use them for work too and for long walks and construction even.

    • Great Shoes, but too small for me
I purchased these sneakers because I liked the color and style, plus they were on special. I usually take a size 10.5 but these were far too tight, especially at the top of the toes and to the sides of my feet. I gave them to my room-mate as an early Christmas gift (he was thrilled with them). I then ordered other Sneakers in the DC range and went for size 11 this time (they are a very snug fit so I should really have gone a whole size up, not just half). I think the size difference to other footwear is probably because the materials are thick and padded, so there's obviously a little less room inside each shoe. I know some people can't afford to make these kinds of mistakes, as some other Reviewers did mention the size issue, so I definitely recommend you order one full size larger, as a minimum. Depending on what you pay when you order, I would still consider these good value for money, it's just a shame I can't speak to the comfort levels. I will post reviews on the other "DC" branded shoes I just got delivered today when I've had some time to try them out. This is the only reason I give four stars and not five - they could have fit better in hindsight, and maybe the manufacturer could think about publicizing this when they sell this tight-fitting range. ... show more

I’ve bought DC shoes for years. I’m 29 and I’ve bought them since middle school. The last 3 orders of shoes I bought the men’s pure skate shoe. But I order these anvil shoes for work. I am a hairstylist and I’m on my feet all day and wanted a clean all black shoe. These are similar to my other DC’s but I like these more because the tongue isn’t so puffy. And they are sleeker with less texture and seems on the sides and brim. If that makes sense. There is also a little less padding in the back. I find them very comfortable. I’m a woman size 9 so I buy men’s 7.5 and I did and these are perfect. Same as usual and no issue. My DC’s I usually keep for my everyday shoe for 3-5 years and then reorder them. The heel tends to wear away around that time frame. But for everyday wearing the same pair all day for that many years, it’s impressive. I just love DC. ... show more

    • looks good, but tight fit
these shoes look really good, and they give me good arch support for an everyday shoes. my one complaint is that they are really tight in the toe section, and i even ordered them a half size bigger. if you have wider than normal feet, then maybe look for a different company.
