It didn’t smell bad it was and its original packaging. Looks just like the photo had everything that you needed right in the packaging Packaging was really nice and organized. Shipping was fast. It fits great and looks great. The only this is that the mask is different from the picture and the leg covers are a little tight (and I have small legs already). Otherwise awesome!

I wear a size 12 and this costume fit pretty decently. Upon opening the package I noticed the yellow bat on the chest had a clipped wing where the other wing had a point. No big deal, I don't think anyone would really notice a flat point tip vs. a pointy tip. The yellow bad did seem to lift off the dress, so I'm not sure how durable the costume is. I have wide hips and the length of this dress would be a bit short if I were going to a children's costume party. The cape helps cover the rear, but I wore leggings underneath anyway. The mask is comfortable. The belt was not long enough for a girl that wears a size 12 (that was my biggest issue with the costume. It was about 4 inches short of fitting me at all. I had to punch a hole on each end and tie it together with my shoe lace. Overall, great price for a decent costume ... show more

I wore it out to a bar Halloween party. I got lots of compliments on it. Got a size large. I am 5'10 and almost 190 pounds. It was longer than i thought it would be which is great since im really tall. I didnt need anything special underneath to hide my underwear. All the accessories fit perfectly for me except the boot covers didnt want to work with the boots i had. The mask fit perfectly too but i didnt wear it because i didnt want to take the chance of it messing with my hair all night. The costume will last plenty of times. The arm covers did get a little stretched out from having to pull them back up every so often but other than that its been a perfect costume for me. It fit like it was made for me. I had seen some cute customer submitted photos, so I thought this costume would be a safe bet. I ordered it for a fun photo shoot. When it arrived, I was super disappointed. The mask was paper thin plastic that had already cracked before I took it out of the box, so I had to replace it with a better one. The belt is pretty wonky from being rubber and being folded during shipping. Even though I got a size XS, it's still baggy on me. The boot cuffs looked so absolutely weird and crappy, that I simply threw them away immediately. Before I can even consider wearing this costume, I'll have to have it sewn again. I do like the funky spiked sleeve things, but all in all, this costume was a disappointment. Just REALLY bad quality and sizing. I'd rather tie a towel around my neck as a cape. ... show more

I received my costume today and couldn’t wait to try it on. It is HUGE. My husband said I looked like I was wearing a trash bag with holes cut out for the arms. :( Now, in their defense, I did just recently lose 30 pounds. I am 5’4” and currently 152 lbs. I ordered a large for two reasons. 1: I have always ordered an XL in everything, and Large was all that was available. 2: I can sew! If you sew, you know it is much easier to take things in than it is to take them out! I could literally pull the armpits four inches out on either side, and (though I read several reviews that it was too short) it comes down to my knees! The logo on the chest is a bit funky, but a black sharpie should take care of that. All of this being said, I would still strongly recommend this costume. I have no regrets and when I’m finished with it, it will be tailored to fit me and all my curves. I’m sure I could have easily worn the medium (stretch is good) so keep this in mind if you fit my description. Happy Halloween y’all! ... show more

    • Very poorly made costume

The costume had so much potential. The fit was nice and it was flattering. However... One of the legging/boot things was significantly longer than the other and were sewed differently. The mask was cracked down the middle and unusable. The dress/cape was stuck together and needed to be peeled apart. It has a weird coating on it. After trying on the costume, I placed the yellow belt face down on the dress and when I went to wear it- the black coating on the dress came off on the belt staining it significantly. One of the arm cuff sleeves had material in it that made the jagged points on it stiff/stand out nicely...the other did not. It looked like the people who put it together forgot to sew in the material and the edges of the jagged points were completely undone on that one cuff.
