The DBX1000M Metal Dryer Vent Box with snap on trim ring. The DBX1000M 6'' dryer vent box is powder coated white, 22 gauge steel, designed for a 2x6 wall. This dryer vent box can also be used for down venting, just simply turn the box upside down. The DBX1000M also comes with a snap on trim ring to eliminate caulking and drywall repair that othe dryer vent boxes have.

It easy to install but it would be easier if it was 14 1/2 inches so you don’t have to add framing on one side

This box fits nicely in a 2x6” interior wall. This allowed me to use 1 less 90 degree bend, which improves flow and gives more room behind the dryer. Solid build with heavy gauge metal and looks great, super clean!
