I got this bed for my grandson who will be here in a few weeks. My son & daughter in law are so pleased with it. What we didn't know though is there are conversion kits you have to purchase separately to convert the bed to a toddler bed with the rail and a full size bed conversion kit which includes the slats that support the full size mattress you will need to buy also. It is adorable and easy to assemble. I would recommend two people for the last few step but it's possible to do solo. I love the way it looks. I am a little concerned about the stability of the metal part that the matress sits on. They used the shortest screws to attach that part, and there is no secondary support besides the small corner screws. I'm considering drilling the rest of the way through and adding a longer bolt and fastener just to be sure it won't fall and drop the matress over time. It wouldn't look as clean but it would add peice of mind. No complaints as of now looks great, easy to assemble, beautiful and functional, just as described. Will update if my concerns are validated, or if anything new arises ... show more
