The cookies I received were soft and delicious. With good wrapping over each cookie tray and individual brownie. Definitely need more friends and family around to share it with as I hadn't realized quite how much I had ordered. Really worth the price.

I have sent these as gifts and the feedback was positive. Given this I ordered some for myself. I was disappointed the moment I opened the tin. The top tray only had cookies in 3 of the 4 sections. The 4th section had a few pieces of broken cookies and crumbs. I tried one immediately, the double chocolate chunk. It was dry and broke apart in my hand. The cookies, although dry and had little taste, were edible but my local grocery has much better cookies. For 55.00 I expected awesome, what I got was a shoulder shrug and "since I can't return them I might as well eat them" The brownies were only slightly better because at least one flavor, the chocolate chocolate chip, was moist. The rest were dry. I will not buy these again. Heads up, there wasn't any freshness dating so you'll have no idea how old they are.

I purchased this specifically for the "holiday" tin. I couldn't care less about the product inside it was just an added bonus. My own fault for not looking closely at every single picture but I was under the impression from the first two pictures I saw, that the tin itself had the Merry Xmas graphic on top (the first two pictures on the amazon add, the top of the tin is off and the "Merry Christmas" graphic was on the lid making me think that it was printed on the lid itself). The ONLY part of the whole tin that is holiday related in the slightest is the cardboard sleeve. The rest of the tin is just a red and white Davids advertisement that uses random designs; and nothing about the graphics themselves are festive in the slightest.
