I bought this for my Son and he loves it. The fit was perfect….sleeves are not too long or too wide. Fabric is cozy and warm and length is to mid calf.

I'd give this 4.5 stars if I could, but I don't see any other reviews, so I'll round up. For the most part, I love this thing. The interior (polyester) feels like a sort of velvet: it's soft in a smooth way, rather than a cushy way like a fleece might be. It has a grain, so if you rub against the grain, it bunches up in little waves (not that that's good or bad). The exterior is a high quality linen. The color and the density is pretty much exactly as pictured. The two layers lets it block wind to a certain degree. I stood outside in lightly breezy (~4-5 mph) winds at 46°F and didn't feel a chill. If I needed to pick up a newspaper or something, I think this would be sufficient on most mornings. I have no idea how to objectively gauge warmth. I guess all I can say is that it's not too hot or cold for me. My only quibble is that I wish it were longer. I purchased the medium, with a "fit height: 5'90". I had guessed that this meant it would be 5 feet, 9 inches long, but from the hood to the hem (with the waist tied), the robe itself is really more like 4 feet, 9 inches. I can't complain since it comes down about as far on me as it does on the model, but I do wish the dimensions were a bit more clear. Note: I'm a bit of a tall, lanky guy (6 feet height, 29" waist, 35" chest), so it could just be that I'm at an awkward dimension--too scrawny for the large, but too tall for the medium.

This is definitely on the hot side... not for summer unless it's a cool night. Very thick but very comfy. It actually saved me from a drunken fall on my scooter going 25 mph. If I didn't have it on, I would've been scraped up like crazy!

Nice robe overall, very warm and comfortable. Deducted a star because the robe is too long and is a trip hazard waking up / down the stairs. Almost returned the robe: however decided to make it work ( lift robe up when on stairs - annoying; however, robe is so comfortable)

Just for reference, I'm 5' 7" tall, around 175 lbs. I ordered a large because I wanted a robe nice long robe. This is plenty long and comes to my just above my ankles; perfect for me. This works great for just walking/sitting around, but I soon found out that I had to lift the front of the robe slightly while going up stairs or I'd end up doing a face plant. Small price to pay for a good quality, thick, warm, robe. Might be a little too warm for summer though. If that's the case I guess I'll just buy a summer robe.
