I like that there's no fake sugar in this, unlike some other competitors. It tastes like chocolate milk because that's exactly what it is. I don't see a reason to get regular chocolate milk if you can get this.

It wasn't bad. It wasn't watery like skim milk. It didn't smell much at all. Maybe that is why drinking it was unimpressive. It left no impression at all. It was just very uniform. Unoffensive, but also uninteresting. We like cereal with milk, milk in our coffee, a glass just for the heck of it. Sometimes we run out and want something on hand to bridge the gap. It was more palatable than canned evaporated milk. Less than canned condensed milk reconstituted. It will not be a replacement for condensed milk in coffee. It is passable for flavored cereals that impart flavor to the milk. Won't be using again on Life, or other plain grain breakfast cereals. Its blandness does have an advantage. It can be drunk before strenuous activities that would otherwise cause one to puke or feel unwell in the gut. My boy likes to drink milk fast. He definitely prefers it to water, but will often puke if he drinks milk too fast or goes out and runs after. This did not seem to have that effect. And the sealed can makes it easy to take in place of a water bottle. But the thing is, when given the choice, he prefers the water bottle. Update: I left a bottle which I opened but didn't finish in the fridge 2 weeks. Saw it today while thirsty and grabbed it instead of the small remainder of a 2% gallon that was right on the edge. The Darigold was great. I was able to drink it quickly, it was refreshing. Today, I liked that it didn't have the heavy distinctly milk flavor. Overall I'm happy to have it around, right next to the gallon in the door.

The Darigold FIT High Protein Chocolate Milk 2 Percent Low Fat Milk is delicious. Chocolatey but not too much even if I drink the whole bottle. I love drinking this in the afternoon when I’m craving chocolates. No weird aftertaste, just like good old chocolate milk. Best when served chill. Shake well before drinking. I got my case early March and the expiration date is all the way in November. The kids loved this chocolate milk too. Recommended.

This milk is perfect to have on hand. We don’t have any lactose issues in this house, but we do like to look for things that are higher in protein, and with less sugar, and these fit the bill. They taste great, just like chocolate milk, without any weird aftertaste. I love that shelf stable so I don’t have to worry about keeping them in the fridge all the time. It has a nice expiration date so I don’t feel like I have to drink them all very quickly. Overall, these are perfect to have on hand anytime you want a nice little chocolatey pick me up a boost of protein, but not a lot of sugar. Or any lactose.

I am the only occasional milk drinker in the house, so buying fresh milk often doesn't make sense because it often goes bad before it gets used up. With this being shelf stable and in small containers, I can grab a bottle from the pantry whenever I need one. Taste wise, it is good but personally it doesn't have quite the same flavor as fresh milk. But it's a minor trade off because of the option of being able to store it in the pantry for much longer than refrigerated milk.

I typically can't stomach breakfast so something was protein and small is usually very helpful in the morning. The fact that this was lactose-free is even more helpful for me because I have a very bad lactose intolerance. They're not bad warm but they're even better cold. It kind of has a water like texture, it's not creamy like actual milk but it tastes pretty good. Overall I've been very happy with it
