  • Happy customer
The media could not be loaded. When I was looking for a Sim rig I had a few requirements that I had based on seeing YouTube videos of people Sim Racing. Rigidity. I didn't want it to shake when using the wheel (I am using a T300RS, not a DD, although I'm sure this can handle a DD.). I have seen people on YouTube on other rigs and the wheel shakes, the seat move, the gearshift platform shakes. I wanted something that had the rigidity of a real car I want it to look good, to look of professional quality, or good material and clean design. I want to be able to makes adjustments to the pedal distance, seat back angle, steering wheel angle and height adjustment, pedal angle adjustment, basically versatile enough to adjust for other people, I wanted it to just work, I didn't want to modify it, or have to drill new holes, or add extra support. And the tricky one, I didn't want to have to pay an arm and leg for all of this. Well, I am happy to say this Dorado thick tube cockpit with black seat CHECKS ALL THE BOXES. It was easy to assemble. Easier than IKEA. I was a little worried because it's steel and if things didn't line up, that would not be an easy remedy, but everything fit perfectly (one base tube seem a little unequal on my floor but it bolted together perfectly and with the adjustable feet the whole rig is perfectly solid flat on the floor and sturdy). FedEx was a little rough with the box and the steering wheel mount was slightly bent so the steering wheel platform didn't fit in (it's a pretty precise clearance). I just needed to use for vice grips to bend it back a little and once bolts were in everything bent back nice and clean. My wheel and pedal seat had pre-drilled holes that lined up perfect, I was even able to use the one leg of table mount with it for added support (not sure it needs it, but why not). You can see in the video how sturdy it is, I have it on a towel so I can easily slide it out of the room but it also shows how much I can move it an nothing flexes or shakes. I am 6'1, 225, I can have my legs extended fully if I wanted and have space to spare. My wife is 5'1 and can adjust to her preferences too. The black seat is comfortable, fabric, looks good, (has a zipper cover, so might be washable), but it does attract lint. If this rig could be improved: The black seat looks good and is comfortable, but I'd feel better if there was more support braces holding it together. And I wish it came in a leather-like, all black, cover. The fabric gets lint all over it (There is a red and black one, and that seat looks like it has more structural support). I wish it had the ability to telescope the wheel stand closer to the seat. You can change the height and angle and move the seat closer but I wish I could move the wheel closer like many cars. With that said I am still very happy with my purchase and those items would make it even better. I would also be interested in options to buy a seat cover, rig cover, or additional add-on parts (another shifter stand, add-on platform to hold other gear, etc). Finally, customer service. I had an extensive conversation with Sonny because of some delivery issues that they had no control over. You'll be happy to know that customer service is clearly important to this seller. Sonny was quick to respond to messages, very polite, and just provided and exceptional experience. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Great quality
Came in 2packages customer service was great and responded in 24hrs. Assembly was fairly easy and they have a follow along video online which was helpful...i love the adjustment it has for various heights of people and over all sturdiness is great. Using a logitec g for ps5 and they even provide the little bolts to screw in back of logitec wheel and pedals. Will be recommending to friends n family for sure ... show more

  • Amazing Deal
Amazing deal yes, five stars no If your expecting a 5 star sim rig, spend the extra $500, this is not for you. I saw a review saying the gear shift mount wasn't very solid, it is 10x more solid than I expected. It is very solid. There are some questionable welds but again, this a $400 rig. The rig itself is very solid. Seat is very firm, I opted for the black seat, I could see it being OK after a cpl hrs straight or the exact opposite, time will tell. The picture on the page of the rig accurately depicts its size. Reasons I dropped the 5th star: Instructions are lacking some details, no part qtys, I got one screw with no threads but plenty of extra. There are instructions for chair assembly and frame assembly, you are on your own when it comes to mounting chair to the frame. Came in two separate shipments but only recieved one tracking number, chair showed up no frame, scared the hell out of me. Frame came following day. Honestly with some minor changes to the instructions and their shipping methods it'd been an easy 5 star. Did have several scratches but I expected that. I firmly believe you get what your paying for here but there is some room for improvement. Would highly recommend ... show more

  • Thing is rigid
If any of you are looking at this for a direct drive setup, might wanna look into this one. Thing is a lot sturdier than I thought it’d be. Kinda of a pain to put together, a socket wrench helps. Some of the frame was slightly warped but once everything’s together it’s extremely solid, almost no play. ... show more
