Description

Founded in 1990 by Mandy Cabot and Peter Kjellerup, Dansko’s mission is to improve the quality of people’s lives through our products, our passion, and our commitment to a better tomorrow. Former horse trainers, Mandy and Peter were traveling in Europe when they found the perfect “barn shoe” – the traditional clog. They returned with suitcases filled with clogs for family and friends, and soon started selling them from the back of their station wagon. Word of the clogs’ comfort traveled quickly, and Dansko (meaning “Danish shoe”) was born.

I gave up on these clogs-heavy, narrow, owned 5! Bought the xp at last chance for $35, and loved them, light weight clogs. I love the XP.2.0, it’s so much lighter and really comfortable! Wore it w light socks, gold toe for 4hrs, took off socks for the the rest of 8hrs (rub on top of feet)! Wish they had them in 35 Wide, and it would be 5 stars! Great for my knee issue and plantar, too. No blister on day one! ... show more

I am not happy with these shoes. I wore for less than a month and my back was killing me. The shoes were already falling apart on the edges as well. I only wear them 3 days a week at work. I could not figure out why my back was hurting so bad until I went back to my old danskos's that I have had for over 5 years. The are the professionals. I am still wearing the professionals and my back is much better. I would not recommend the XP's. They are too soft and have no support for a 12hr shift. The XP also do NOT hold up at all. I also would NOT recommend buy dansko on amazon. The walking company told me to only buy in person at a professional store or on the dansko website only. ... show more

Been wearing Dansko Professional clogs for almost 20 years, both for hospital/clinic work and every day wear. Because of wear on the heel and general scuffing, usually need to replace every 5 yrs or so. The XP 2.0 update is the first time I've shifted to a different version of the Dansko Professional shoe. Compared to the Pro, it is markedly narrower, lighter, and has a far more cushioned insole. I can't speak to the durability of the XP 2.0 but from a comfort and wearability perspective, even I think it's an improvement, even though I've never had an issue with either the clunkiness, weight, or the deserved sole support of the Pro.
