I chose these shoes because they have a good soul for walking and I’ve found them to be quite comfortable and fit true to size. They are pretty warm so probably better not for summer, but they are a great shoe to slip on and head outdoors with.

Revised: So a couple of years after writing this review, I ended up buying this same shoe again in the size 36 and they fit perfectly. I find that they fit better with socks. I don’t know if they stretched out, but after some everyday wearing over the past month, they feel loss without socks. Plus, they have a stiff but supportive feel. I accidentally wore them for a long walk (with socks on) around a park, and they rubbed a blister on my bunion. Otherwise, I like the look (not too clunky), comfort with socks, and arch support. They are great around the house as my ‘house shoes’ because I need the support. I wear them outdoors or running quick errands around town but (for me) not for long walks or hiking. Definitely size down in Dansko. The 6.5/7 size was too large for my 6.5/7 size feet. I needed a half size smaller. I have found this to be true in other Dansko shoes but the reviews seemed to convince me that these ran true to size. I returned them. They seemed to be the usual Dansko quality. They were a bit stiffer then what I was looking for, so I didn’t reorder a smaller size. They would be great outdoor clog.

I love these shoes. I wear them in the winter - they are lined and are so comfortable and supportive. It takes a while to get them broke in so give it time. I just bought my second exact pair in case they take them off Amazon.

I ready the sizing chart and ordered accordingly. However, the shoes were just a little too short, such that my heel came down on the back edge of the shoe. If you’re at all in doubt about your size, order up.

After several attempts to get a shoe to fit I finally did! Size was spot on and they were comfortable right out of the box. I was disappointed that at this price point the lining is faux shearling - I wanted to wear without socks so I will order shearling footbeds to insert. I got the black suede very nice looking winter clog - waterproof probably why they squeak on wood floor as someone else mentioned but I’m sure that will wear off. All on all happy with my purchase.

Spoiler alert: I love these shoes! I am a mom with two Lego-obessed kids, two dogs, and a house with hardwood floors. I am using these Dansko Parsons as house shoes. I don't slip on random puddles and leaves in the hallway. I don't have ice toes, which my hubbins appreciates. I don't fire-walk across rainbow splinters of Lego demolition sites. I can run towards an emergency without causing a second emergency myself, thanks to vibram soles. My knees and lower back are happy again, instead of reminding me hourly that I'm old. Yes, these are expensive "slippers" but here's the deal: I deserve comfortable safe shoes in my home as well as outside. I expect these to last many years. Plus, they are cute. Which is the least important factor for me, but is a nice bonus.

I like the comfort and support, as expected from dansko, but if you are in need of supportive shoes quickly, don't buy them from here. I bought on January 23, and received them on February 7. This is nonsense when you have amazon prime and need them ASAP.
