I love these danksko sneakers. I ordered a pair in gray from QVC and liked them so much I wanted another pair for just around the house. They stabilize my ankle and my knees stop making cracking noises when I put them on. I don't wear any other walking shoe. From now on, it's just these. They are very well made, fit true to size, and have good arch support. They are so special because the sole of the shoe is wider than the foot bed and that makes them feel super stable and keeps my foot from rocking inward due to the ankle rolling in. You can order a 1/2 size larger than you normally would wear and put in a custom orthotic. I ordered my normal size (7.5/8) and I had more than enough room to spare for an orthotic if I wanted one. My mom ordered her normal size (9) but she couldn't fit the orthotic comfortably. So she ordered the 9.5 and they fit perfectly with the orthotic. Great shoe. Would recommend to anyone who wants a light shoe that is well made, cushioned, stable, and comfortable. ... show more

I cannot say enough about how much I LOVE these shoes. I’ve worn Dansko clogs for 14+ years and still love them, but as I’ve grown older, my feet and ankles tend to swell about halfway through my shift. I have a very high arch and insole, so the part of the clogs that go across the top of my feet would start to get too tight and almost cut off circulation to my feet. My feet would start to burn and go numb. So, I started trying tennis shoes. I’ve tried pretty much all kinds. Some were great for a few shifts but then would wear down, or they just did not have the support I really wanted. I randomly came across these Dansko sneakers and was shocked they made sneakers! Then I saw the sale price and the reviews. I did the try before you buy feature, wore them for a week, and after that full week, I am sold. These are by far the best tennis shoes I’ve ever owned! They have great arch support, the part around the ankles and top of the foot is a nice stretchy material, they breathe very well, I can feel the cushion on the bottom of my feet as I walk and it almost feels like they have springs under them, and they don’t collect sweat and odor!! My feet do not burn or go numb, I’m not having to soak my feet and massage them after each shift, and my legs don’t hurt either. These will now forever be my go to work shoe. I’m so glad I just happen to come across these. Amazing! **FYI: I normally wear an 8.5-9 shoe, but I’ve always gone up a size with Dansko. These are comfortable shoes, unfortunately the workmanship is shoddy. I ordered my first pair and they ripped along the seam just above the inside of the arch. I was hoping the ripping was an anomaly and ordered a second pair, a few months later that pair also ripped in the same spot, and for the duration I was wearing the second pair one shoe squeaked the whole time. Edited 12/14/2023 I received these mid-September 2023 and was really excited to try them out. They were REALLY tight on my toes. After a few weeks, they the toe box area has stretched and these are very comfortable. I've been wearing them daily for 3 months now. My plantar fasciitis is gone and I'm very pleased with these shoes. Will buy again. Original review 9/2023 I was given a gift card for my birthday that covered most of the cost of this shoe, so I decided to bite the bullet and buy them. I have plantar fasciitis, so been dealing with a fair amount of constant foot pain when walking in other shoes. I wear size 10 and bought 9.5-10 wides because I felt 10.5-11 would be too big. The shoes fit great, except in the toe box - they are so tight I had to clip my toenails because they're so smushed together. It's not comfortable in the toe area, but has alleviated my plantar fasciitis pain, so I've continued wearing them (this is my 6th day) hoping that they'll stretch a little. Hoping they get better, because these are expensive and not something I would typically spend so much money on. ... show more

Amazing! Great fit! Comfortable for 12 hour shifts! I unfortunately had a blood spill today and it DID NOT GO THROUGH THE SNEAKERS! CLEANED RIGHT OFF DID NOT GO THROUGH MESH ON SNEAKERS INTO SNEAKERS! Nurse life you know what I’m talking about! Couldn’t be more satisfied!!
