I have several pairs of Danskos. Love them all, including these! True to size. Love the Velcro closure. I had bunion surgery on one foot, so I try to wear good shoes to avoid problems with my other foot. These are super comfortable and cute. I wear a 10 most of the time (very rarely, I wear a 9.5) and the 40 fit great. If they weren’t so pricey, I would buy the tan ones, too.

As always, these Dansko sandals were well made. However, something I didn't realize and didn't see in the description was that the had a velcro closure. I was expecting the great buckle closure Dansko are known for. Cute shoes and fit comfortably.

This is a beautiful shoe. However the ankle strap was so big I had to return them. I wish that I could've made them work because I've thought of a million outfits they'd work with.

The ankle band is too large and cannot be adjusted. Velcro was a poor choice since everyone will likely need a bit of an adjustment (high arch, slim vs wide foot, etc.) I thought I’d take a chance bc I have a pretty average-sized foot…and they were on sale and I’ve wanted them for a long time…but they’re a no go. They flop, even with the Velcro done as tight as possible. They aren’t as “golden” as I was expecting. The sole felt good (I’m a 7) and some quality is there, but not all the way. As you can see, a smaller size wouldn’t fix the problem.
