I love these sandals! I haven’t purchased a pair of Dansko that I don’t like. True to their product, I ordered a 8.5-9 (39) and they fit well. Maybe a tad loose but my feet swell in the heat so these are perfect.

The arch support is sufficient that my feet don’t feel tired even after walking all over airports for summer travel. They look great with jeans, shorts and flowing skirts and dresses.     • A little large and not a real buckle
I wear an 6-6.5 in sandals. 7 in flats. I bought the European size 37 based on Amazon’s recommendation. They are a little loose. The main reason I’m disappointed is that the closure is Velcro and not a buckle as I expected. This is not clear in the description. I have to over extend the Velcro to secure the ankle strap by about 3/8”. Velcro does not usually last as long over time in my opinion. The toe box area is wide which is great for bunion issues but overall the sandal seems a little long for my foot. The arch support is in the right place though so I hesitate to return and size down. I bought these for a trip and I don’t have time to re order a 36 to see if that’s better. I will use a stick on cushion at the toe grip area to help prevent sliding. As usual Dansko is well made and I love the non skid coating on the sole. I’m hoping the Velcro will last and I really do feel that the use of Velcro closure makes the shoe feel cheap. I’d rather have a traditional buckle at this price point. ... show more

Love these! These are light on my feet and offer the support I need for my plantar fasciitis while still being a pretty shoe. They are a nice quality as well and should hold up to wear. The buckle is a false/decorative buckle; the actual closure is velcro. I actually like this since it makes it easier for me to fasten and adjust, but others may not. ... show more

These ARE NOT as adjustable as advertised. Love the look and the quality BUT the strap adjusts just slightly (to the extent of the velcro) and then the velcro no longer stays attached. I tried to deal with it but began walking in them and walked right out of them when the velcro could no longer stay attached (because not enough was connected due to having to adjust the strap to fit my foot). If you don't try to wrap them tightly around your ankle/heel you'll walk right out as well because they're too loose. ... show more
