I absolutely love these shoes - they hug back, but in an elegant way! They felt like I’d spent months breaking them in from the moment I put them on, and remained comfortable and supportive all day long. They’re true to size, feel secure on my feet, are extremely easy to walk in, and have a surprisingly robust Velcro strap for easy adjustment. I have to have good shoes because of my wonderfully problematic feet and these were the ones. I have been a long time Dansko shoe lover and these did not disappoint. I initially got an 8.5 but returned them for an 8. I wouldn't say they were too big for an 8.5, it's more that I go between sizes. They have great arch support and are a nice soft fit. You can adjust the strap so you can decide where the best fit is. They are not heavy and I believe will last a long time. They are super cute dressed up and or down. Upfront, I will admit that I am a huge Dansko fan so Ii might be biased in this review... I LOVE these sandals. I've bought both the black and the tan. - Cushioned insole - Velcro closure around the ankle strap, so very adjustable - Insole has adequate support for my high arches - The "Look"- under pants, it almost looks like a regular shoe, not a sandal because of the band across the toe area but with a skirt, it still looks lightweight, not clunky - Tan color seems to disappear with my skin tone (I have very light caucasian skin). Color is authentically "tan", no heavy yellow or orange color to it. My one "not-so-great" is that the strap across the toe area is not adjustable and it's just a bit snug above my high arches but I've solved that using a shoe stretcher which works really well because the material is leather. This shoe is so gorgeous, I had been coveting these beauties for a while. Sadly they did not fit properly and I sent them back. They were loose in the toe box area, and not good for walking. I have Dansko shoes in multiples, and they’re always fabulous, but this style did not work for me,
