These boots are way comfortable and stylish. I love the boot and has the comfort I always expect from danskos. Just remember there are two separate pieces of cardboard inserts inside the shoe that needs to be removed before use. I read reviews that the boot left some feet feeling painful, I think it might be due to not removing all the inserts from the shoe that could make the boot feel uncomfortable and too tight. The shoe itself is beautiful and the quality is great. The leather is high-quality, the color is nice, and the construction is very nice. However, when I tried this pair of shoes on, although they looked very nice and were comfortable standing they are not comfortable for walking. I tried my true size and a size down. Got these in black, and love them. I'm usually a 8.5-9 but ordered these in a 38 and they fit great. A little tight through the top of the foot but once they're broken in they'll be fine.

    • Might be my favorite danskos of all time

So I have 20 pairs of Danskos. Yes! But I have from the tall gorgeous boots to the minimalistic strappy sandals. I really have a wardrobe of them. They don't go out of style. They wear forever. I only had to ebay some of the clogs as I needed to upgrade. My clog collection are the tooled ones now in every variation they offer. I even have the plastic/rubber sandals in 3 ccolors and I wear them as house shoes, out and about, and even with socks in the winter. I never fail to get compliments even from people I don't know. That said, as a teacher I rely on Danskos. And I want them to look great. These are my tops faves of all time. Love them so much I have both colors of course.! Edit: all my danskos are 39's, including this pair. I think perhaps if the fit is off in terms of tightness, perhaps they were mismarked. ... show more

I LOVE Dansko but these were awful. I’m always a 39 and these were insanely tight and difficult to get on. Not sure why they didn’t stick with the prior higher heel boot style that had a zipper. Had to return (and was bummed since my older version are pretty worn out!)

fit perfectly - I usually wear a 9 so I went with the 8.5-9 and they are perfect! They don't slip on the heal and they are comfortable to wear and walk in. Danskos are well made shoes so I'm not sure why others had issues but I would not want to sully the good name of Dansko. I've had their shoes in the past and have never been disappointed.
