These were comfortable right of the box and appeared to be well made. Brown color was very attractive too. Runs true to size. They had to be returned as the shoe runs a little wide in the toe box area which I needed but even with wool socks on they were not a good match.

Great structure to these shoes. Laces make them fit just right. Comfortable all-day wear, non-slip, supportive, arch support and all over foot support. Rich color. I wear a size 10 and they don't make feet look gigantic. Love these shoes!

I bought my first pair at Zappos and this second pair, black, at Amazon, as Zappos colors and sizes were very limited at the time (I like Zappos policies and shipping much better, but again, the second shoe wasn't available). The shoe shape is ... not the most attractive, somewhat rounded and bulby like a Keen, BUT, despite that, it does look cute. My picky sister thought they were cute too, not orthopedic and clunky like many of the Dansko shoes. I like the colors, and, although some customers complained, I feel bouncy yet sturdy in the shoes. I wanted a shoe that I could wear with slacks but not uncomfortable, more like a tennis shoe-oxford tie hybrid. The uppers are very stiff so I can't tighten the lower lace area, but that isn't necessary at this time. I started wearing Dansko when I had plantar fasciitis; I had much wider feet at that time so I wouldn't have been able to wear this shoe model as it's not wide. Some folks complained that the sole was slippery on wet floors; I cannot address that I didn't want to wear them my first time in winter nor do I work on wet floors; I'm sure they would do as well as any non-snow boot on snow and ice. I can't address the arch support; I have flat arches but don't notice either way with this shoe.

I love Dansko clogs but need something for long city walks. The clogs don’t have enough cushion to deal with pounding pavement. I have great pain after a few miles if anything is a little off, in ankles, knees, hips, lower back. I have tried so many shoes. You can’t find Dansko tennis shoes in stores to try. But I knew if anyone made a good shoe it would be them, soI am SO glad I ordered the right size and that they fit great, and sure enough, walked 5 miles today and I could easily have walked 5 more. No pain! It actually felt like a massage on my feet as I was walking. Blessings to all the people who make these shoes, I don’t know what I would do without them, seriously. I hope they all live long and prosper! I usually wear a 40 in the clogs, by the way, but since they offer wide I got the 8.5-9 wide and they are great with thin or thick socks, thanks to the adjustability of the laces.

I bought these in black for travel because they go with everything, aren't bulky, blend nicely with dark clothing, and don't scream TOURIST like other athletic shoes. They are requiring a breaking in period for me but were mostly comfortable right out of the box. They feel very sturdy and seem true to size and width. I was able to remove the insole and insert custom orthotics easily. Even without custom orthotics, the arch support was very good as expected with this brand.

I like the fact that they are waterproof and would be perfect for walking my dog this winter. The heel of the shoe was very uncomfortable for me. I have a narrow heel and my heel slipped around in the heel of the shoe. I felt that it had good arch support, but sadly I needed to return the shoes.

My wife has tried many different shoes, these have good stiffness (can't bend easily) but have a wonderful footbed and supportive breathable sides. She said these are very nice looking and should be useful in the winter also when it gets mucky. The price is steep but we've been on the hunt for a quality shoe she can use long term. After trying several shoes using Amazon Prime's "try before you buy" service these were the only shoe we kept for the purpose among other more expensive brands.
