Great shoes — extremely comfortable after a few hours of break-in. The shoes were comfortable from the start, but the leather seemed VERY dry so it didn’t have all the flex it could have. Solution: Used Kiwi leather lotion on all surfaces both inside and outside. Yes, I even used it on the insole and inside the toe box. The following day, the leather was supple and began molding to my feet in the first hour of wear. BTW, the blue leather is dark, and that’s exactly what I wanted. These are beautiful sandals made with attention to detail and the quality is there. You can’t go wrong when you buy a pair of Dansko shoes. They cost a bit more than other shoe brands, but in my experience with my previous pair, they will last for many years so they are worth it. I love this shoe (style, fit, comfort) and intend to keep it however, it should be noted that the color is very different from what is pictured. I ordered the color "Denim", which in the Amazon photo appears to be a mid-range smoky blue microsuede finish. The actual shoe I received is a dark navy, almost black color, smooth finish. I adore Dansko and bought these on sale. However, these missed the mark for me. The wide strap that goes over the forefoot rubbed the skin all day long and by the time I got home, I had sores on both feet. I don't have chubby feet or anything like that. I am standing / walking around all day and rarely sit Sadly, I cannot wear or return these at this point. Beware, if you do buy these, wear them around the house so they don't get dirty and make sure you don't feel like they are digging into the top of your foot. ... show more

Perfect fit right out of the box. I am highly prone to blisters and have suffered no discomfort when wearing these. I even wore them at an all-day work conference where I did a lot of walking. I bought the black and they are great—durable and versatile. Beware that the “Denim” color is quite dark. I expected it to be lighter blue but it’s navy or even indigo. I bought these in July ‘24 and set them aside for fall. As of 11/7/24 I’ve worn them for less than 2 months and THEY HAVE COME APART!!! :( Having owned several pair of this style of shoe over the years, I can confidently say that the craftsmanship just isn’t the same anymore. Overall, these are dynamite shoes - extra cushioning in the footbed, comfortable enough to wear all day, soft enough to mold to your foot without over stretching; it sure would have been nice if the shoe could have stayed together so I could enjoy these longer :( ... show more
