This is the 3rd pair of similar Dansko shoes I’ve had over a period of years. I liked the old ones a lot, but these new ones are changed in 2 ways that don’t work for me. The old shoes had a suede Velcro strap that you could use to adjust tightness. They also had a nice wide rounded toe box. These new ones have elastic straps across the top that aren’t adjustable, and the toe is slightly more pointed. So, they hurt my big toes and won’t stay on my feet. They seem to have the same comfort level and the good arch support as the old ones, so if you can tolerate the slightly tighter toe area and you don’t have a narrow heel like I do, they could be great shoes for you. I received the shoes today and was so excited. I put them on to start walking around the house. I love the look, but the top straps are kind of tight and the toe part is smug. I’m gonna wear them around the house today to see how much they’ll hurt maybe they won’t cause I would love to keep them and they don’t have them in a wide. I ordered half a size bigger if I keep them I’ll cut off the straps off ... show more
