Updated, final review …. I almost got rid of these things, but I am so glad that I didn’t. Admittedly they were clunky and I tripped before I got used to them. After several months of “breaking in”, they are my FAVORITE shoes. I wear them during summer without socks, and winter with socks. With dresses, with pants. Whatever. They are my perfect plantar fasciitis shoe. The best that I have. Helps my hip too. I guess that same hip had bursitius(?). I just feel so much better when I wear them. Going to buy some Danskos booties for the winter. These are the best for this 43 year old teacher. I wear the strap good and snug now. ————————————- First review before breaking them in: I’m not sure what I think of these crazy shoes. They are definitely different than what I expected, and I’ve never had shoes like this before. I am dealing with plantar fasciitis. The arch support is great. They are so darn hard. I don’t know if my foot is in them correctly. Apparently your heel is supposed to move freely, up and down, so the shoe shouldn’t be tight on your foot. I wish I had gotten a size bigger, but I stretched the one shoe for my weird foot, and it is working ok now. They really aren’t that comfortable. But at the end of the day, my bad foot isn’t hurting, and neither is that bum hip on the same side. Not sure if it is coincidental. Time will tell and then I will update. If he helps my foot, I will be elated! The red was beautiful. Definitely not flexible. Scuffs Easily. Very heavy. They are kind of clunky and feminine at the same time, which is what I’m going for. I had recess duty today and they held up to the dirt pretty well. I don’t love walking in these things. But... they might be working for me. Interesting. My feet feel protected in them. Really good for standing, I think.

The Dansko brand is one of my most favorite. It's known for stylish, quality footwear and this clog is no different. While wearing this shoe, I can stand for hours and not have sore feet or back pain. Great arch support, a generous toe box and a classic silhouette make this Mary Jane-style shoe a hit. I purchased a Beatrice pair in black, but the red is absolutely adorable, too. I've gotten so many compliments from strangers while wearing my shoes. No surprise to me...it's a Dansko!

I bought a pair of these in black at the store. They took about 2 weeks to break in and now they're the most comfortable shoes I own. I decided I needed a brown pair and ordered them online, knowing exactly what size I needed. They're great quality just like my physical store bought ones. They are taking longer to break in, as I wear far fewer outfits that go with brown shoes. They're leather so might be slightly uncomfortable at first. Give them time though. I wear a 10.5 US size and ordered 41. The shoes are a little loose but fit perfectly when I adjust the strap.

This is my first time buying Dansko's, and I am surprised at how comfortable they are. The sizing is a little weird though. I did have to get the pads to go at the heel as they slip a little bit, but overall, great quality, comfortable, not slick at all, so I'm not worried about slipping in them. The Velcro closure is very strong as well. These have definitely become my go-to shoes for work!

I have always been a fan of Dansko shows. They feel comfortable and they last a long time. I own a few Dansko clogs. When I saw the Mary Jane in red, I knew I needed to buy them. As expected, they feel comfortable and I do like the heel. They look adorable.

I think these are my favorite shoes of all time! They are so comfortable and cute. I’m a teacher so I like that they are good for my back and hips while looking a little more dressy than my chucks. They look nice with outfits that are a little dressy but you don’t want to wear dress shoes. I rub my dr marten conditioning cream into them periodically for protection. I you’re on the fence just buy them. They are roomy and don’t pinch anywhere for me so I’d say they are true to size and would even work for feet that are a little on the wide side.

These shoes are so comfortable! I have plantar fasciitis and have no trouble in these shoes at all. I am usually a size 38 and these were true to size. I only wish there were more colors!!

These are super cute and very comfortable. I only wear these on an occasional Sunday so they are not heavily used. Recently, I've been concerned about the staples coming loose on the outside of one of the shoes. This secures the leather to the sole so it is concerning. Not sure if this can be resolved . . .
